Hello elo im pat, pro bss player, 180 day total playtime, have never touched a macro or an autoclicker in my life
Yesterday I made the decision to quit bss because the game hates me and it is honestly falling off so bad
Anyways here is a shorter version of my entire bss timeline:
I used to watch a lot of dantdm vids and found thinknoodles from dantdm and then pokemon brick bronze came and that game was honestly my favorite game ever, peak roblox imo, anyways after pbb was deleted I soon started to look for other games to play and one of those was bss, I found it from a thnxcya vid and sometime in 2018 I started playing the game a bit, I was a noob back then but I still sometimes played the game and I played the game until a bit after puppy bee and vicious bee were added, I also got my 1st event bee and that was puppy bee (1st edition so worth it). After that I also got honey mask at some point and then took a break from the game
Until about beesmas 2020-2021 where I got the gummy mask on the first day, bear bee sometime after and then the petal wand (I donated 1st petal), the diamond mask and ssa, I then got a super good pop gum and then the supreme saturator soon after, I then got an epic blue hive and demon mask and I also met @Brainpopuser for the first time around this time, he is the first user on wiki that I remember from that time period, I also got reindeer antlers and the coco set and the petal belt at some points in time. Then beesmas ended and I tried to become a white hive and failed miserably so I quit
Until beesmas 2021-2022, this is when I really became a pro at the game, getting a good blue hive and meeting some of the bss pros that I would talk to somewhat frequently @Zrobe and @SupremeLmature , I would pretty much play with them for most of this beesmas and got gummy boots this beesmas aswell as tide popper, I also got myself a fully gifted lvl 18 blue hive and at some point in time I met @Turbotobytwo (gonna be important later) this beesmas while asking for someone with a pine tree guid. I also got windy this beesmas im pretty sure after like 800-900 vials
After beesmas I afked a lot, growing my playtime by probably like 60 days and got the petal planter aswell as the gummyballer just before
Beesmas 2022-2023, this beesmas in which I spent a majority of the start trying to be good at white and failing and also getting 500 white drives and I soon got dark scythe (the 3rd endgame tool so was 3/3) and went red, as red I got 500 red drives and like 1.5qd honey during honeyday, I then went white and became actually good making nearly 500t in a hd boost with only 15 gifted vectors, I then spent the rest of beesmas grinding mats and boosting and at the 2nd to last day I boosted and spent honey on a scorch saw and then spent honey on rj and only got about 2 gifted spicys from 130t and decided to quit
I also crafted 55 smoothies and had 84 total at the end, I played for like 99% of this beesmas with turbo.
So yea that is my bss journey summarised, I got a 1qd goo badge at the end and like 3.5qd total honey, if I ever return It will prob be to check out a new update and then leave and I may only ever actually come back if onett starts making good updates (we litterally got everything up until beesmas 2018-2019 in the same year and that includes crafting and other stuff)
Anyways now after the introduction is finished I will now start the actual topic of this post, a brutally honest review of bss

So bss is a game that peaked in 2018-2020 imo, the pre ssa era was probably the least complicated and rng reliant era of the game and also the most fun because of that, mythic bees being worth something was how they were intended to be and gifted mythic bees were pretty much the rarest bees in the game, this was also the pre macro era of the game and the pre onett giving up on the game era aswell, ever since then bss has been on a downwards spiral because of onett’s dumbass decisions such as but not limited to:
Allowing macros
Puffshrooms
Whirligigs on bbm
Robo bear’s party
Tide popper being trash
Red and White needing their tools to even be functional
Blue being functional without tide popper
Updating once a year (and only working on that update for a month per year)
Dapper bear getting quests 1 year late
Delaying heat treated and hydro aswell as beequip shop till beesmas
Nectars replacing jellybeans
Planters being macro items
Robo bear’s challenge being rng based
Yea, that is a huge list and the most important is the yearly updates with only 1 month being spent on them, this just goes to show that bss could have had ALL of the content that it has now + another few years of updates by 2021 if onett wasn’t lazy, his whole intention of him not hiring a dev team never was to not mess up the game because believe me onett himself has screwed up the game horribly with his updates but it honestly was just him being an idiot, if anything with the right dev team we would right now have every endgame equip in the whole game and a new amulet rarity above supreme, specifically for star amulets aswell as so many other things that would balance the game out and make it fun.
So as a finishing brutally honest statement as turbo reccomended (I think): Onett is a insert bad word and I don’t want anyone to play his insert bad word experience because it is just an experience.
As an inspirational finishing statement:
Stop playing bss or don’t start playing it, find something else that you like to do that is in real life, it will pay off in the long run, do a sport, martial arts, play chess, even making a career online that makes you money in real life counts but just don’t spend your time playing bss, it will drag you in and become an addiction.
