To reduce edit wars and other frustrations, please read the following guidelines below before making any edits. Additionally, for formatting and page content, please see the Manual of Style.

  • Vandalism and troll edits are never tolerated.
  • Assume good faith while editing. If you see someone add something incorrect or mess up formatting, unless it is blatantly malicious, assume the other user meant well with the edit.
  • Edit Wars: If you find yourself making the same edit a second time after it was reverted by another user, check the page history. There's probably a good reason why your original edit was reverted.
    • If you and another user cannot agree on an edit, contact them on their message wall. If you still cannot reach an agreement, contact a staff member. Continuation of the conflict on the article will result in punishment.
  • Edit Farming: Avoid editing the same page multiple times in a row. There are previews to allow you to see the results of your edits. If you can't get it right in two edits, stop editing and ask for help.
    • Editing the same page multiple times in succession can result in an assumption that you are edit farming.
  • Unnecessary Pages: If you find a page that shouldn't exist (unrelated, duplicate, fanon), inform a staff member or edit the page and put the special code {{Delete}} at the top.
  • When making an edit, it is good practice to add a short summary of your edit. This can help prevent miscommunication when editing.
  • Generative AI is not permitted to create the contents of articles. There are few scenarios where it would be necessary, especially considering that much of the information is already based on the wiki itself.
  • Do not sign any main pages with your name. Your username will be in the edit history and it does not contribute positively to the page.
  • Do not edit another user's profile without their permission. There are few scenarios where it is necessary and can fall under vandalism.
