Bubble

Bubbles are objects that can be produced by certain tools, abilities, or passive abilities. Bubbles have a percentage chance to be spawned by certain bees when gathering. Bubbles spawn on the flower that the bee gathered and last for 4 seconds. When popped, they collect 4 red, 6 white, and 8 blue pollen from 29 surrounding flowers (+15% per gifted blue bee type, +5% per bee level) and cause nearby flowers to grow back to full.

Bubbles can be generated by Bubble Bee, Tadpole Bee, frogs, the Bubble Wand, Bubble Mask's Bubble Bombs passive, and the Pop Star passive.

Bubbles can be popped by other players, petal shurikens, tornadoes, Star Saw, Fuzz Bombs, the Dark Scythe's trail, and the Tide Popper's waves.

Popping bubbles helps to grow Pop Stars and will increase Bubble Bloat. The bigger the Pop Star grows, the more bubbles it will spawn.

Even though another player pops your bubble, the pollen collected by the bubble is yours, no matter who pops it.

During Pop Star if someone else pops your bubble it will count for the growth of the Star.

When a bubble is popped, the following audio plays, with an increased pitch the more bubbles are popped in quick succession:

Gathering Bubbles

The Gathering Bubbles passive gives a chance for a bee to spawn a bubble while gathering pollen from a field. Gathering Bubbles+ gives a higher chance for a bee to spawn a bubble.

There is a 25% chance (50% if gifted) for Bubble Bees' Gathering Bubbles passive to spawn a bubble while gathering, and a 65% (85% if gifted) chance for Tadpole Bees' Gathering Bubbles+ passive to spawn a bubble while gathering.

A Bead Lizard gives from +10% Gathering Bubbles chance to +12% Gathering Bubbles chance for an individual bee.

Bubble Pollen

Bubble Pollen is the amount of pollen that bubbles can collect. The player can check how much bubble pollen they have in the system page.

Bubble Pollen can be increased by a few ways.

• The Diamond Mask gives a x1.5 Bubble Pollen multiplier.
• The Bubble Mask gives a 1.25x Bubble Pollen multiplier.
• Gifted Bubble Bee gives a x1.25 Bubble Pollen multiplier.
• Beequips:
  • A Bead Lizard can give +1% Bubble Pollen as a hive bonus from waxing.
  • A Bubble Light gives from +15% Bubble Pollen to +30% Bubble Pollen for an individual bee. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +60% Bubble Pollen.
  • A Bubble Light can give +1% Bubble Pollen as a hive bonus. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +11% Bubble Pollen.
  • A Camphor Lip Balm can give 15% Bubble pollen hive bonus. Using waxes can increase the amount up to 25% Bubble pollen.
• Cog Amulets:
  • The Bronze Cog Amulet can give from +3% Bubble Pollen up to +5% Bubble Pollen.
  • The Silver Cog Amulet can give from +5% Bubble Pollen up to +6% Bubble Pollen.
  • The Gold Cog Amulet can give from +8% Bubble Pollen up to +9% Bubble Pollen.
  • The Diamond Cog Amulet can give extra Bubble Pollen.
  • The Supreme Cog Amulet can give from +15% Bubble Pollen up to +20% Bubble Pollen.
• Robo Bear Challenge:
  • Epic Upgrades:
    • Pop-Up: This upgrade gives x2 Bubble Pollen.
    • RGB: This upgrade gives x1.25 Bubble Pollen.

Improving Bubbles

Aside from increasing the amount of pollen that bubbles can collect, the player can also improve bubbles a few other ways.

Golden Bubbles

A Golden Bubble is a special variant of a bubble that can only occur when a golden balloon floats over a normal bubble or it can be summoned by a gifted frog.

When a golden bubble is popped, it collects +100% more pollen than a normal bubble per field boost stack, contributes 50% more time to Pop Star's bubble bloat than a normal bubble, has 100% Instant Conversion (unless going into a balloon), and has a 10% chance to spawn a honey token.

The only way to increase the Golden Bubble pollen besides Field Boost is with Camphor Lip Balm.

Instant Bubble Conversion

Instant Bubble Conversion is how much pollen collected by the bubbles is instantly converted. There are currently no ways to increase Instant Bubble Conversion.

Bubble Duration

Bubble Duration affects how long bubbles last before they disappear. The base duration is 4 seconds and can be increased to 5 seconds. There is currently only one way to increase Bubble Duration. Note that bubbles spawned from Bubbles Bombs last 8 seconds (10 seconds if one has a Gifted Tadpole bee).

• Gifted Tadpole bee grants +25% Bubble Duration

Other Improvements

Certain upgrades from the Robo Bear Challenge can be used to improve bubbles.

• Epic Upgrades:
  • Invert: This upgrade makes bubbles collect x4 pollen from red flowers.
  • Pop-Up: This upgrade gives x1.5 Bubble Lifespan.

Trivia

• The maximum Bubble Pollen a player can have at a time is 925%. This can be achieved by having the Diamond Mask (x2), a Bead Lizard (+1%), three Bubble Lights (+33%), a camphor lip balm (+25%), a Supreme Cog Amulet (+20%), Gifted Bubble Bee (x1.25), activating the Sticker Stack with certain stickers (+6%), Pop-Up upgrade (x2), RGB upgrade (x1.25).
• Popping a bubble has a 1/1,000,000 chance to spawn a Tadpole sticker.
• Bubbles are the counterpart of flames.
