Critical Hits

Critical Hits are moments of increased pollen collection and attack damage, doubled at its base power. Their frequency is increased with higher Critical Chance, and their strength is increased by greater Critical Power. A critical hit will have the pollen amount/attack damage shake and change color, similar to the animation below.

Critical Chance

Critical Chance is the chance of a hit being critical hit. The player can see how much their Critical Chance is by looking for the Critical Chance stat in the System Page. Critical Chance can be improved by a variety of ways such as ability tokens, guards, and inventory items.

Bees

Tokens

• Focus gives +3% Critical Chance per token and caps at +30% Critical Chance from 10 tokens.
• Precise Mark from the Target Practice ability gives +7% Critical Chance per token and caps at +21% Critical Chance from three Marks.
• The Tabby Blessing buff, granted from collecting Tabby Love while having maximum Tabby Love stacks, grants +1% Critical Chance.

Gifted Hive Bonuses

• Gifted Commander Bee gives +3% Critical Chance.

Beequips

• Individual Bee:
  • A Bottle Cap gives from +1% Critical Chance to +2% Critical Chance. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +12% Critical Chance.
  • A Charm Bracelet gives from +1% Critical Chance to +14% Critical Chance.
  • A Bang Snap gives from +1% Critical Chance to +3% Critical Chance. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +23% Critical Chance.
  • Pink Shades can give from +22% Critical Chance to +26% Critical Chance. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +50% Critical Chance.
  • A Beesmas Top gives from +5% Critical Chance to +10% Critical Chance. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +20% Critical Chance.
  • A Beesmas Tree Hat gives from +2% Critical Chance to +5% Critical Chance. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +10% Critical Chance.
  • A Snow Tiara gives +1% Critical Chance.
  • A Toy Drum gives +1% Critical Chance.

Guards

• The Looker Guard gives +1% Critical Chance.
• The Elite Red Guard gives +5% Critical Chance.
• The Riley Guard gives +8% Critical Chance.
• The Crimson Guard gives +10% Critical Chance.

Amulets

• Star Amulets:
  • The Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond Star Amulet can give from +1% Critical Chance up to +5% Critical Chance.
  • The Supreme Star Amulet can give from +1% Critical Chance up to +7% Critical Chance.
• Ant Amulets:
  • The Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Supreme Ant Amulet can give up to +3% Critical Chance.

Buffs

• Using a Tropical Drink gives +5% Critical Chance.
• Using a Super Smoothie gives +6% Critical Chance. The buff can also be given from certain codes.
• Collecting green jelly beans gives +3% Critical Chance per jelly bean and caps and +5% Critical Chance from 3 jelly beans.

Robo Bear Challenge

There are several upgrades that can be bought with Cogs during the Robo Bear Challenge which can upgrade Critical Chance.

• Rare Upgrades:
  • Commit: This upgrade starts at +5% Critical Chance and maxes at 2 upgrades with +10% Critical Chance.
  • Virus: This upgrade starts at +1% Critical Chance and maxes at 3 upgrades with +3% Critical Chance.
• Epic Upgrades:
  • RGB: This upgrade gives 1% Critical Chance.
• Legendary Upgrades:
  • Pseudo-RNG: This upgrade gives 3% Critical Chance.

Debuffs

There are certain upgrades that can be bought with cogs during the Robo Bear Challenge which can downgrade Critical Chance.

• Rare Upgrades:
  • SSD: Blue: This upgrade starts at -3% Critical Chance and maxes at 3 upgrades with -6% Critical Chance.
• Epic Upgrades:
  • FOV: This upgrade gives -2% Critical Chance.
  • Normalize: This upgrade gives x0 Critical Chance.

Critical Power

Critical Power is how strong a critical hit can be. The player can see how much their Critical Power is by looking for the Critical Power stat in the System Page. Critical Power can be improved by a variety of ways such as ability tokens, guards, and beequips.

Bees

Tokens

• Melody gives +100% Critical Power.
• The Tabby Blessing buff, granted from collecting Tabby Love while having maximum Tabby Love stacks, grants +25% Critical Power.

Gifted Hive Bonuses

• Gifted Looker Bee gives +25% Critical Power.
• Gifted Tabby Bee gives +50% Critical Power.

Beequips

• Individual Bee:
  • A Thumbtack gives from +5% Critical Power to +10% Critical Power. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +40% Critical Power.
  • A Camo Bandana gives from +1% Critical Power to +6% Critical Power.
  • A Bottle Cap can give from +5% Critical Power to +10% Critical Power. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +60% Critical Power.
  • A Kazoo gives from +2% Critical Power to +5% Critical Power. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +65% Critical Power.
  • A Whistle gives from +15% Critical Power to +25% Critical Power. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +85% Critical Power.
  • Pink Shades gives from +29% Critical Power to +49% Critical Power.
• Hive Bonus:
  • A Bottle Cap can give from +2% Critical Power to +15% Critical Power from waxing.
  • A Kazoo can give from +2% Critical Power to +5% Critical Power. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +10% Critical Power.

• The Looker Guard gives +25% Critical Power.
• The Elite Blue Guard gives +50% Critical Power.

There are several upgrades that can be bought with Cogs during the Robo Bear Challenge which can upgrade Critical Power.

• Rare Upgrades:
  • Nullify: This upgrade starts at x1.5 Critical Power and maxes at 2 upgrades with x2 Critical Power.
• Epic Upgrades:
  • Demarcate: This upgrade makes Mark Tokens give x1.03 Critical Power for 15 seconds which can stack up to 10 times at x1.3 Critical Power.

Debuffs

There are certain upgrades that can be bought with cogs during the Robo Bear Challenge which can downgrade Critical Power.

• Common Upgrades:
  • Defragment: This upgrade starts at x0.9 Critical Power and maxes at 10 upgrades with x0.5 Critical Power.
• Epic Upgrades:
  • Client-Side: This upgrade gives x0.75 Critical Power.

Super-Crit

When performing a critical hit, there is a chance to perform a Super-Crit (purple version of a critical hit) which doubles the pollen collection while also instantly converting the pollen collected, while for the attack damage is increased by 33% of the Super-Crit's pollen. The frequency for a Super-Crit is increased with higher Super-Crit Chance, and their strength is increased by greater Super-Crit Power.

Super-Crit Chance

Super-Crit Chance is how often a critical hit will be a Super-Crit. The player can see how much their Super-Crit Chance is by looking for the Super-Crit Chance stat in the System Page. Super-Crit Chance can be improved by several ways.

Bees

Tokens

• The Precision buff granted from the Target Practice ability gives +2% per token and caps at +20% from ten tokens.
• The Precise Mark buff from the Target Practice ability gives +7% Super-Crit Chance per token and caps at +21% Super-Crit Chance from three tokens.
• The Tabby Blessing+ buff, granted from collecting Tabby Love from a Gifted Tabby Bee while having maximum Tabby Love stacks, grants +1% Super-Crit Chance.

Gifted Hive Bonuses

• Gifted Precise Bee gives +3% Super-Crit Chance.

Beequips

• Individual Bee:
  • Pink Shades give from +1% Super-Crit Chance to +15% Super-Crit Chance. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +24% Super-Crit Chance.
• Hive Bonus:
  • Pink Shades can give +1% Super-Crit Chance as a hive bonus.

Buffs

• Using a Super Smoothie gives +1% Super-Crit Chance. The buff can also be given from certain codes.

Robo Bear Challenge

• Legendary Upgrades:
  • Bruteforce: This upgrade gives +6% Super-Crit Chance.

Super-Crit Power

Super-Crit Power is how strong a Super-Crit will be. The player can see how much their Super-Crit Power is by looking for the Super-Crit Power stat in the System Page. Super-Crit Power can be improved by several ways.

Bees

Beequips

• Individual Bee:
  • A Camo Bandana can give up to +14% Super-Crit Power.
• Hive Bonus:
  • A Whistle can give from +1% Super-Crit Power to +20% Super-Crit Power from waxing.
  • Pink Shades from +1% Super-Crit Power to +5% Super-Crit Power. Using waxes can increase the amount up to +9% Super-Crit Power.
  • A Demon Talisman can give up to 10% Super-Crit Power as a hive bonus from waxing.

Amulets

• Cog Amulets:
  • The Diamond Cog Amulet can give from +10% Super-Crit Power up to +12% Super-Crit Power.
  • The Supreme Cog Amulet can give from +15% Super-Crit Power up to +25% Super-Crit Power.

Buffs

• Dark Heat made from dark flames using the Dark Scythe gives x1.05 Super-Crit Power with each additional dark flame granting x0.05 Super-Crit Power.

Stickers

• The Precise Eye Sticker gives +1% Super-Crit Power.
• The Squashed Head Bear Sticker gives +1% Super-Crit Power.
• Purple Fleuron Sticker gives +1% Super-Crit Power.
• The Royal Symbol Sticker gives +1% Super-Crit Power.
• The Royal Bear Sticker gives +1% Super-Crit Power.
• The Purple 4-Point Flower Sticker gives +1% Super-Crit Power.

Robo Bear Challenge

• Legendary Upgrades:
  • Pseudo-RNG: This upgrade gives x1.25 Super-Crit Power.

Trivia

• The highest Critical Chance the player can have at a time is 88%. This is achieved by having Focus x10 (30%), Crimson Guard (10%), Supreme Star Amulet (+7%), Supreme Ant Amulet (+3%), Gifted Commander Bee (3%), x3 green jelly beans (5%), 3 stacks of Precise Mark (21%), Super Smoothie (6%), Snow Tiara (1%), and two Toy Drums (2%). Additional percentages were possible during certain events, with +3% from Panda Bear's 2019 ornament, and +1% with Gummy Bear's ornament in 2020 and 2021.
  • However, this percentage can be brought up to 100% in the Robo Bear Challenge, by purchasing two Virus upgrades (+2% Critical Chance) and two Commit upgrades (+10% Critical Chance).
• The highest Critical Power the player can have at a time is 1,586%. This is achieved by having Melody (+100%), Cobalt Guard (+100%), Supreme Ant Amulet (+50%), Gifted Looker Bee (+25%), Gifted Tabby Bee (+50%), two Bottle Cap (+30%), a Kazoo (+10%), three Beesmas Tops (+45%), Nullify upgrade maxed (x2), 10 stacks of Demaracte upgrade (x1.3), and Grandmaster Battle Badge (+100%).
  • The lowest Critical Power the player can have at a time is 38%. This can be achieved by having Defragment upgrade maxed (x0.5) and Client-Side upgrade (x0.75).
• The highest Super-Crit Chance the player can have at a time is 53%. This is achieved by having x10 Precision (+20%), x3 Precise Mark (+21%), Gifted Precise Bee (+3%), Tabby Blessing+ (+1%),Super Smoothie (+1%), Pink Shades (+1%) and Bruteforce upgrade (+6%).
  • Additional percentages were possible during certain events, with +1% from Galentine’s Blessing and +1% with Gummy Bear's ornament in 2022 & 2024, adding with the total, to create a result of 55% super-crit chance during beesmas.
