Festive Nymph Decoration

Festive Nymphs.

The Festive Nymph is a variant of Stick Nymph that can be summoned by Stick Bug during the Stick Bug Challenge. Festive Nymphs are only available after finishing Stick Bug's Beesmas 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024 (Summer) and 2024 (Winter) quest - Stick Bug's Nymph Hats. Other players could attack and collect rewards from Festive Nymphs. (The player who started the challenge must complete Stick Bug's quest first, otherwise no Festive Nymphs will appear.)

Festive Nymphs followed the player closest to them and deal damage if they have touched a player, like their regular counterparts. Despite their low stats, Festive Nymphs, along with the Stick Nymphs, would usually be summoned in large groups, often outnumbering players.

Trivia

  • Like Stick Nymphs, Festive Nymphs can follow players out of the field they were in and can either be gone through or be obstructed by some objects. They can also go into certain locations such as the King Beetle's Lair and get into spots where they couldn't reach the player. This allowed the player to exploit them and deal damage from afar.
  • Just like Mondo Chick and the stick nymphs, they lose health every second; Mondo Chick always loses 333 health per second, but Festive Nymph and Stick Nymph's health depletes faster when their level is higher. It is possible for them to be defeated naturally unlike Mondo Chick who would have 300 health left after 15 minutes. They would drop rewards regardless if they have been attacked or not.
  • Onett has also summoned the Stick Bug Challenge with Festive Nymphs.
  • Festive Nymphs are unable to jump, so if the player got higher than the Festive Nymph's hitbox, they would not be able to damage them.
  • Festive Nymphs and Stick Nymphs are the only mobs that can be summoned by another mob.
    • These are two of 18 mobs that cannot spawn naturally, as in the player cannot simply walk in a field and fight it, the other mobs being the five types of Ants, Snowbear, Stick Bug, the five Robo Bear Challenge Mobs, and the four Robo Party mobs.
