Field Capacity

Field Capacity is a mechanic that increases the player's Capacity Multiplier depending on what kind of field they are in. There are 2 types of field capacity: colored field capacity (shown as a stat) and field capacity for a specific field (shown as a buff).

Ways to Obtain

• Donating certain stickers to the sticker stack can grant field capacity.
• Red Field Capacity can be obtained from Riley Bee's gifted hive bonus, the Demon Mask and Scorching Star.
• Blue Field Capacity can be obtained from Bucko Bee's gifted hive bonus and Bubble Bloat (Bubble Bloat can only be obtained if the player has Pop Star passive on Supreme Star Amulet).
• White Field Capacity can be obtained from Exhausted Bee's gifted hive bonus, the Gummy Mask and Gummy Star.
• Coconut Field Capacity can be obtained from the Coconut Canister (x1.25).
• Redeeming certain valid codes:
  • ThreeBeeVee (gives Mountain Top Field Code Buff, granting +100% Mountain Top Field Capacity).
• Using certain Beequips that include a Field Capacity boost stat.
  • The Warm Scarf grants +1% to +3% Red and White Field Capacity.
  • The Pinecone grants +8% to +15% Pine Tree Forest Capacity.
  • The Snow Tiara grants +2% to +5% Blue Field Capacity and +3% to +5% White Field Capacity.
  • The Rose Headband grants 14% to +40% Rose Field Capacity.

Outdated Methods

• Every Market Boost grants x1.5 field capacity for 30 minutes to the boosted field (only obtainable from codes).
• All Beesmas 2020 and 2021 Ornaments (excluding Honey Bee's ornament) gave field capacity as a stat.
• Redeeming certain expired codes:
  • RebootXmas (gave +100% Clover Field Capacity + other stuff).
  • Buoyant (gave Blue Flower Field Capacity x3 + other stuff).
  • WintersEnd (gave +100% Spider Field Capacity, +100% Pine Tree Forest Capacity + and other stuff).
  • 3YearParty (gave Mountain Top Field Capacity x3 + other stuff).
  • 5mMembers (gave Pine Tree Forest Capacity x3 and Rose Field Capacity x3 + other stuff).
  • RedMarket (gave Pepper Patch Capacity x1 + other stuff).
  • Mocito100T (gave Coconut Field Capacity x2 + other stuff).
  • BANNED (gave Spider Field Code Buff [+100% Spider Field pollen, +100% Spider Field Capacity] + other stuff).
  • All Ready Player Two codes gave Code Buffs on different fields.

Colored Field Capacity Formula

The following formula shows how much capacity multiplier a player gets in a field:

Let x equal the colored capacity multiplier.
Let y equal the percentage of that pollen type in the field.

Capacity multiplier in the field =

Trivia

• The Spider Field is the only field where the player is guaranteed to get 100% of a colored capacity bonus, specifically white field capacity.
  • This is achievable with Exhausted Bee's gifted hive bonus, by using the Gummy Mask, activating Gummy Star, the Warm Scarf's hive bonus, or the Snow Tiara's hive bonus.
  • The only opposite version of this is in the Mountain Top Field; it generates no white flowers and therefore doesn't give white field capacity.
  • It is also possible to get 100% of a colored capacity bonus on any other field if they generate entirely with one color of flowers, but the odds of a field generating like that is exceptionally rare.
