A Giant Ant is one of five mobs that is part of a family called ants that are exclusively found in the Ant Challenge, past the Ant Gate.

This is one of the last Ant Challenge mobs that the player will encounter, appearing every fifth wave.

Giant Ants are enormous versions of the normal ant that relentlessly pursue the player. They have a relatively slow movespeed. However, they have large amounts of health, more than any other type of ant, and high attack power, also more than any other type of ant, to compensate for their slow speed.

A Giant Ant's level can increase depending on what wave of the Ant Challenge the player is on. They can range from level 1 up to level 16.

Giant Ants are one of the most threatening of the five ant types, as they are have high amounts of health and chase the player nonstop.

Strategies

• Due to the Giant Ant's high health, they can 'tank' hits from bees and allow the smaller, faster ants to attack the player with a much lower chance of being defeated. Their size makes them much harder to avoid. The player should bring bees with high attack such as Lion Bee to deal enough damage to defeat Giant Ants.
  • The player can also use a Stinger to help deal extra damage against the Giant Ant.
• They always appear every fifth wave on a side of the map so the player can prepare for their arrival.
• Vicious Bee's Impale can deal high amounts of damage to single targets which can help take away tons of health from Giant Ants. Windy Bee's Tornado can help chip away a Giant Ant's health and also take out other ants that are hiding behind the Giant Ant. Digital Bee can also stun Giant Ants and allow them to take extra damage via Mind Hack.

Trivia

• Giant Ants are the only ant to follow a spawn pattern where they appear every five waves (5th, 10th, 15th, etc.).
  • Every 40th wave has two Giant Ants spawn instead of one.
• This is the only ant to have health in the thousands.
