Not to be confused with Cogmowers, the more common counterparts of Golden Cogmowers or Party Cogmowers, the Beesmas Edition of Cogmowers.

A Golden Cogmower is a Mob that appears during Robo Bear's Challenge, known for its distinct golden and bronze accents, which separates itself from its much more common counterpart, Cogmowers. They are the rarest mob type that appears in Robo Bear Challenge, only spawning a total of 3 times:

  • once on either rounds 3, 4, or 6;
  • once again on either rounds 12, 13, 14, or 16;
  • and once more on either rounds 21, 22, 23, or 24.

They can appear only on 4 following fields:

They do not despawn until the round is over. Unlike regular Cogmowers, Golden Cogmowers will not follow the player if they go to another field, they stay in the random field they spawned in.

Golden Cogmowers rise up from the field before slowly moving around the field, draining flowers they pass over. The higher the level of the Golden Cogmower, the more pollen is drained. Golden Cogmowers bounce off of the edges of the field. They also only take half as much damage from Critical Hits.

A Golden Cogmower's level can range from 6-22, depending on what round of Robo Bear Challenge the player is on.

Golden Cogmowers drop 14-20 cogs in a circle around them when defeated. It can be beneficial to seek them out on rounds they could spawn on to gain an advantage for later rounds of Robo Bear Challenge.

Strategies[]

  • Golden Cogmowers don't aim for the player, allowing players to easily sidestep them.
  • Stand near the Golden Cogmower, this will allow your bees to lock on to the Golden Cogmower and quickly deal damage.
  • Vicious Bee provides very strong single-target damage. Digital Bee can also stun the Golden Cogmower in place and allow it to take extra damage via Mind Hack.
  • After starting a round, quickly use the Red Cannon to check all fields for a Golden Cogmower. The cogs it drops can help you afford 1 or 2 extra upgrades during the challenge.
