Honey is the main currency in Bee Swarm Simulator.
Overview[]
Usage[]
Honey can be used to purchase many items such as tools, bags, and in-game accessories such as guards and gliding tools, and to play Memory Match. Honey can also be used to purchase products such as tickets, basic eggs, royal jellies, treats, and hive slots. In addition, honey used along with tickets, could have been used to purchase Market Boosts from the Boost Market, which is now removed. The price of many consumables increases with each purchase, for example, basic eggs.
Obtaining Honey[]
Honey is usually obtained by converting Pollen into it. It can be converted at the Hive or (partly) instantly converted using an Instant Converter or with a Micro-Converter, catching a falling Coconut or Science Bear's falling Beesmas Light (only during Beesmas), activating Coin Scatter and/or Diamond Drain. Honey can also be obtained by completing quests, redeeming codes, defeating mobs, and collecting Sparkles and Goo from fields. Vicious Bee's Impale ability spawns a honey token if it hits a mob. Festive Bee's festive gift ability always spawns honey tokens. Some other bees have the ability to give a Honey Gift or a Token Link. Certain hats, guards, and amulets have the ability to instantly convert a percentage of pollen into honey. Popping bubbles, spawning a flame, having field conversion such as Field Winds, collecting a Bomb token produced by a bee can result in instant conversion as well. The player can also get honey for participating in the Ant Challenge. Honey tokens can appear when the player collects pollen in a field and can be obtained from Honeystorms. The Mythic Meteor Shower awards honey tokens after catching a meteor. The Honey Dispenser is also an option, however, it is only available to those who are in the Bee Swarm Simulator Club.
Convert Rate[]
Bees convert pollen into honey at a set rate. For example, Basic Bee makes 80 honey in 4 seconds, translating into a conversion rate of 20 honey per second. Badges, accessories, gamepasses, enzymes, and Science Enhancement can increase the convert rate. The production rate stacks and adds up. There is currently no convert rate cap in the game.
