Honey Bee is a Quest Giver and one of the three permanent Quest Bees, the others being Gifted Riley Bee and Gifted Bucko Bee. Honey Bee is located on the rock near the Pine Tree Forest. Added in the 2019-02-01 Update, its original purpose was to give players something to do while the next update was being worked on, but it has now become a Permanent Quest Giver.

It doesn't require a Translator to give quests, making it different from the other quest-giving bees.

General Quest - Honey Bee's Honey Hunt

Honey Bee only gives one single, repeatable quest that solely revolve around collecting Honey Tokens.

Tips

• Fighting Stick Bug and Stick Nymphs and/or the Mondo Chick are very effective for completing its quests, as they spawn many honey tokens. Defeating normal mobs for their token rewards can also help with Honey Bee's quests.
• Defeating many Wild Windy Bees is another way of completing this quest faster.
• Farming sprouts is a viable way, as they spawn many honey tokens.
• Coin Scatter is also an effective way of collecting honey tokens quickly.
  • Coin Scatter can be easily triggered by having multiple Stubborn Bees, Honey Bees, Carpenter Bees and Vector Bees.
  • Use Coin Scatter on fields where there aren't many decorations blocking them, such as the Mountain Top Field.
• Catching coconuts and meteors produces many honey tokens.
  • Summoning a honeystorm is also an option.
• Lower level fields such as the Sunflower Field spawn more honey tokens than higher-level fields such as the Mountain Top Field.
• Have bees that can spawn honey gift tokens in your hive in order to complete the quests faster.
• Using the Gummy Star passive would be effective as it spawns many honey tokens.
• When the quest is finished, claim it ONLY when you're about to boost due to its 2x conversion.

Trivia

• This is the third bee-based NPC in the game. It is also first bee-based NPC that isn't in its gifted form, the second being the Digital Bee NPC.
• Honey Bee is the only Bee Quest giver that you don't need a translator to talk to.
• Honey Bee, Science Bear, and Polar Bear are the only quest givers to give a buff as a reward for finishing a quest.
• Honey Bee, along with Gifted Bucko Bee, Gifted Riley Bee, Onett, Stick Bug, and Bubble Bee Man are the only non-bear quest givers.
• In the Egg Hunt 2019 update, there was a Plastic Egg token hidden behind it.
  • It has been replaced by a ticket token granting 3 Tickets.
  • Honey Bee was one of the three quest givers that did not give an Egg Hunt quest, the others being Onett and Spirit Bear.
• Honey Bee is the only NPC whose Beesmas quest affected another NPC's machine (Black Bear's Honey Wreath).
• Honey Bee along with Spirit Bear are the only quest givers that can summon a Honeystorm.
  • According to Bee Bear, Bubble Bee Man can also summon honeystorms.
• Honey Bee is one of 3 NPCs who have moved place, the others being Bubble Bee Man and Gummy Bear.
• Honey Bee's quests are the only repeatable quests which don't contain the NPCs name followed by a colon (:).
• During Beemas 2021, there was an error with Honey Bee’s ornament that made the Bag of Honey ornament and buffs are not visible to the player. This bug has been fixed and all players who gave Honey Bee a present before 2022-01-06 were refunded.
• Honey Bee is one of the 2 NPCs (the other being Science Bear) that require you to join the Bee Swarm Simulator Club in order to access the Club Dispensers and complete their quests. Its Beesmas quests require you to use the Honey Dispenser.
• It used to be located next to the ramp leading to the Basic Bee Gate, but it was moved behind the biggest tree in the Pine Tree Forest in the 2020.06.06Update.
  • It was possible to start the quest before the 2020-06-06 Update, and not have 15 bees when it moved, making the quest incompletable until you got 15 bees.
