• According to Slaries, an administrator on the official Bee Swarm Simulator Discord, the Magnet was the first tool Onett ever made when developing the game.
• The Magnet is a weaker version of the Electro-Magnet, a tool that can be purchased in the Pro Shop for 300,000 honey.
  • In addition, the Electro-Magnet bears a different appearance to the Magnet; instead of the body color being red, it is yellow. In addition, it has four poles instead of two, and there is electricity in between the poles, unlike the Magnet.
  • The two are the only tools to collect pollen in a square pattern. They also have the same exact collecting pattern.
• Interestingly, the Magnet's associated sticker portrays a different gray magnet with colored ends.
