The Marshmallow Bee buff icon.
The Marshmallow Bee inventory item that was added during the Egg Hunt 2019 event. It has a capacity limit of 25, which can only be exceeded by code and quest rewards. Collecting 3 Marshmallow Bees and handing them in to the Egg Hunt Info gave the player the Flight of the Bumble Egg and a badge during the Egg Hunt 2019 Event.
When used, it grants the following buffs for 30 minutes:

Defeating Mondo Chick dropped at least one Marshmallow Bee. Since the 2020-12-25 update , this method is no longer possible.
Completing most the Egg Hunt 2019 quests of certain NPCs rewarded the player with at least 1 Marshmallow Bee:
Completing Sun Bear's Egg Hunt 2020 quest rewarded 1 Marshmallow Bee along with other stuff.
Completing Bee Bear's "Snow Cub Reformation (2/5)" gave 3 Marshmallow Bees.
Completing Honey Bee's 2024 and 2025 Beesmas quest rewarded 9 Marshmallow Bees.
Completing Mother Bear's "⌛Waiting With Sun Bear (5/6): And Mother Bear, Again" quest rewarded 3 Marshmallow Bees.
Opening the Pearly Present gave 2 Marshmallow Bees.
Opening the Paper Gift Box from Beesmas 2020 gave 2 Marshmallow Bees.
Opening the Minty Gift Box from Beesmas Summer 2024 gave 2 Marshmallow Bees.
Opening the Cherry Gift Box from Beesmas Winter 2024 gave 1 Marshmallow Bee.
Completing the Retro Swarm Challenge used to have a chance at rewarding a Marshmallow Bee.

There are sugar crystals on the Marshmallow Bee, something most real life marshmallows don't have. This may have taken influence from/be a reference to the brand Peeps , as they are also animal-shaped marshmallows coated in sugar, and are popular during Easter.
Before the April 6th, 2020 update , there was no capacity limit on how many Marshmallow Bees could be stored in the player's inventory. This was likely so because the player could only obtain a limited amount of Marshmallow Bees prior to this update.
Marshmallow bees are the few consumable buffs that won't override a Super Smoothie Snowflakes Stingers Jelly Beans Glitter
Marshmallow Bee is the only bee that the player can't have in their hive.
