Oil is an inventory item that was added in the 2018-11-25 update. When used, it grants x1.2 Bee and Player Movespeed for 10 minutes when activated. Using another will reset the timer, but it does not stack. It can also be used to craft other accessories or items. Using a Super Smoothie will override the buff.

Ways to Obtain

• Crafting it via Blender for:
  • 50 Sunflower Seeds
  • 10 Royal Jellies
• Matching a pair of oil in Memory Match.
• As a reward for donating to the Wind Shrine.
• As a common drop from Robo Bear Challenge.
• A common reward from Stick Bug Challenge.
  • Stick Bug drops oils.
  • Defense Totems also yield oils.
• As a Stack Reward for adding certain Stickers to the Sticker Stack:
  • Flying Photon Bee rewards 1 oil.
  • Drooping Stubborn Bee rewards 1 oil.
  • Fuzz Bomb rewards 1 oil.
  • Yellow Coffee Mug rewards 1 oil.
  • White Flag rewards 1 oil.
  • Standing Beekeeper rewards 1 oil.
  • Honey Dipper rewards 1 oil.

• Farming in the Sunflower Field may rarely yield oil.
  • Harvesting leaves in this field may also yield oil.
• A rare drop from sprouts (the odds increase depending on the rarity of the sprout and if the sprout is in the Sunflower Field).
• As a drop from a Festive Gift (if Festive Bee is gifted) or Festive Mark.
• As a rare gift from a Cub Buddy.
• As a drop from planters.
  • Fully grown planters in Sunflower Field are almost always guaranteed to drop an oil when harvested (Cooldown Unknown).
  • The Hydroponic Planter often drops a lot of oil.
    • Growing it 3 times in a row at the Sunflower Field guarantees 100 oil.

Quests

• Black Bear's repeatable quests have a chance of yielding oil after completion.
• Brown Bear rewards 1 oil at the 35th, 105th, 160th, 185th, 255th, and 285th quests.
• Science Bear gives oil on the following quests:
  • Subsidized Agriculture gives 1 oil and other items.
  • Meditating On Phenomenon gives 1 oil and other items.
• Polar Bear occasionally gives oil after the completion of one of his quests.
