Pollination is a mechanic that causes flowers to grow to higher tiers, increasing their total pollen and multiplier. Flowers that are lower tier than other flowers in the field have a higher chance of being pollinated. When flowers are pollinated, they will burst flower particles.
Flowers only stay pollinated for 1 minute, but this can be stacked up to 5 times for 5 minutes. Every minute that an already pollinated flower is not pollinated, it will go down a tier, until it has reverted to its original state.
Pollination is the only method to achieve large and star flowers, as the highest natural tier is triple.
Ways To Pollinate Flowers[]
- Fuzzy Bee's Fuzz Bombs can pollinate flowers upon popping it.
- Fuzzy Bee‘s Fuzzy Coat passive has a chance to pollinate up to 5 surrounding flowers while collecting pollen. This increases to 9 when gifted.
- Fuzzy Bee's Pollen Haze pollinates up to 30 flowers every second. Bomb tokens produced in a field with pollen haze are automatically collected and pollinate flowers.
- Diamond Mask's Diamond Drain pollinates 10 blue flowers when activated. The number of flowers pollinated increases by 3 for every blue bee the player has.
- If Guiding Star is active, the star will pollinate 15 (+1 per gifted bee type) flowers every 15 seconds.
- A bee with the
Poinsettia Beequip equipped has an 11% to 20% chance to pollinate flowers while gathering. - A bee with the
Lei Beequip equipped has a 20% to 50% chance to pollinate flowers while gathering. - A bee with the Rose Headband has a 10% to 20% chance to pollinate flowers while gathering.
