"Sends a cool, soothing breeze to all the players on the server (Melts after Beesmas!)." | ||
Cooldown 3 seconds |
A Snowflake is a limited-time inventory item added in the 12/25/2020 update. It's only available during the Beesmas event and is removed and unusable outside the event.
When used, it grants 9 seconds of the Cool Breeze buff that increases various stats. The buff effect scales with duration with minimum of '1%' at <1 second duration and maximum of '100%' at 15 minutes duration:
- +10% ~ +25% Convert Rate At Hive.
- +5% ~ +25% Pollen From Tools.
- +5% ~ +25% Bee Gather Pollen.
- +1% ~ +5% Honey Per Pollen.
- +1% ~ +10% Loot Luck.
- x1.25 Capacity (the capacity always remains the same).
Along with Gingerbread Bears, it could also be used to buy various items from Bee Bear’s Catalog.

Trivia[]
- Snowflakes are one of four consumables that can be used to increase capacity, with the first being the
Marshmallow Bee, the second being the
Purple Potion, and the third being the
Super Smoothie.
- Snowflake and
Nectar Shower Vial are the only consumables that directly grant buff(s) to all players in the server.
- Before March 1, 2021, the snowflake description claimed that it would melt after Beesmas.
- After Beesmas 2020 ended, the additional message was changed to "Melts this week - use them up fast!".
- Snowflake's buff, unlike many other item buffs, does not contain its own name. Instead its buff is called "Cool Breeze".
- This may be because snowflake is not being the only source of the buff, as it can also be obtainable from Snowglobe Shake ability token which is generated from bees equipped with
Snowglobe beequip.

- From using the snowflakes alone, it required at least 129 snowflakes to attain 100% Cool Breeze buff. This is because the buff decreases while the snowflakes are being used. However, multiple players using snowflakes could have sped up the process, decreasing the minimum needed.
- Attempting to use a snowflake after Beesmas will prompt the message, "The Snowflake melts immediately...", thus, making them useless outside of Beesmas.
- For any Beesmas before 2024, the only way to see snowflakes after Beesmas was to keep them in the hotbar at the bottom of the screen. If removed from the hotbar, players could no longer see their current number of snowflakes, as they were hidden from their inventory, although a player still had them until Onett wipes it next Beesmas. Keeping snowflakes in the hotbar didn't save them from being wiped, but it could always be just kept there.
- However, after the completion of Beesmas 2024, all snowflakes were set to zero. They still appear if kept in the player's hotbar, but they can't be used.
- After Beesmas is over, snowflakes will still drop from Festive Sprouts. However, they will not appear in the player's inventory when collected.
- Before Beesmas 2021, Cool Breeze buff used to give +5% ~ +50% Convert Rate At Hive, +1% ~ +25% Pollen From Tools, +1% ~ +25% White Pollen, +1% ~ +25% Blue Pollen, and +1% ~ +10% Loot Luck, and x1.25 Capacity. The noticeable differences with the current Cool Breeze are:
- Convert Rate At Hive used to have half the minimum value and double the maximum value.
- Pollen From Tools used to start at 1% instead of 5%.
- It used to increase White Pollen and Blue Pollen and not Bee Gather Pollen and Honey Per Pollen.
