Spirit Bear is a Quest Giver and is one of the eight permanent Quest Bears that can be accessed in the game, the others being Black Bear, Brown Bear, Mother Bear, Panda Bear, Science Bear, Dapper Bear, and Polar Bear. She holds a Petal Wand and wears a Petal Belt. The player must have 35 bees or more to get access Spirit Bear. She is located between the Coconut Field and the Pepper Patch, and in front of the Extreme Memory Match, she has a total of 30 quests she can give to players, no repeatable quests.
Her Quests are one of the hardest quests to complete and take much longer to complete than the ones given by Science Bear or Onett, as the later quests will require billions of Pollen, Grandmaster Badges, and huge amounts of Tokens collected. The main rewards from her quests are Spirit Petals, which are granted every ten quests. In total, the player can obtain three, one to donate to the Wind Shrine (to get the Windy Bee or a Star Treat if the player already obtained a Windy Bee through buying it in an expired robux pack), another for the Petal Wand, and another for the Petal Belt.

Dialogue[]
Spirit Bear gives plenty of information in her dialogues. Some of the information she gives is not found anywhere else in the game.

Spirit's Starter |
Doesn't the mountain look nice from up here? Oh yes, this is the best spot to watch from. Watch all you beekeepers and your bees. So so busy! Not like me! I'm retired. I take it easy! Hmm... oh you - you're not who I thought. Have we met, honey bun? Oh, what's it matter. I'm Spirit Bear, and you're another beekeeper. It's happened before, and it's happening again. You need my guidance to reach the next level of beekeeping. I've got some time to give it to you! Since you've got that many bees you must know the drill. Hmm... ...Did you know? I planted the sunflowers in the Sunflower Field, you see. Well, my sister, she was the one who wanted sunflowers. For the bees, and also for the seeds, she loved to snack on the seeds. I used to like them too, hmm, but over time I grew sick of them. Quite a nasty habit - the shells get everywhere. (Cough) I planted the sunflowers, many more than you see today. The dandelion field [sic] used to be covered in them as well. I did most of the work, my sister, she wasn't much of a gardener. Hmm... Oh, yes. What is it you needed? That's right! That's right, alright. A quest. As if you weren't busy enough! Well, I've got plenty. And plenty other things store [sic] for you once you've finished. Things they don't make anymore, mind you. Quite special things, magical things. You believe in magic, don't you? Heheh! What's it matter, now. My sister, she wasn't as spiritual as I am. She didn't believe in magic, not in the same way as I do. Well, I used to tell her, that's why her plants would shrivel up. She wasn't in tune with the magic of nature, thus she never knew what they needed. Not quite like me. I can feel it, hear it - what the plants need. Even before they need it! Oh yes, I'm quite special in that way. Years ago, so many years ago, there was a terrible drought. I was the only one who felt it coming! I planned ahead, stockpiled. I became quite wealthy that year, for a while, anyhow. Hmm... oh right. Quests can seem so tedious, so meaningless, don't you agree? Why? why why why? Why in this field, why that color of flower? What's it all for? Well, child, if I told you now, you wouldn't be satisfied. I wasn't satisfied! As a cub I hated nothing more than questing. But the quests work on you as you work on the quests. They're more than a means of making honey. Do you believe what I'm saying? Hehe! What's it matter. Quests will come to you and you'll take them how you will. ...Whats [sic] that? Oh, my quest? You want a quest from me? Hmm, give me a second dear. ... There you go, right in there. Right in your Quest Menu. Go on now, go on. Spirit Bear need a little quiet time... ...(She appears to have fallen asleep)... -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...sticky ...stubborn... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Not in the honey pot! Take it outside! Oh! There you are, dear. ...Oh yes, your quest. It's complete - give me just a second. ... ...(Her eyes close, she begins to smile)... ... ...(She may have fallen asleep)... OK! Ok, ok. (Yawn) Oh, it's so hard to stay awake on sunny days like today. Yes... the sun, in my old age I've begun to appreciate it more. Warms you up down to your bones! But it's not good for your skin, no no no. You: stay out of the sun when you can. Protect yourself from wrinkles. Too late for me! Hah... What's that? Oh, you're too kind. Now, for your reward: Do you know about [Glitter]? You ought to know about it by now. In any case, it's exceedingly rare. Very important for a beekeeper. [Glitter] boosts pollen in a field you're standing in by 100%! Maybe, more importantly, it can be used to extend Field Boosts, Like those you get from [Field Dice]. Well, as I'm sure you've noticed, it's rather hard to come by. But those who know, they know... I know! Heh hee. Yes I know. [Glitter] to me is like Honey to you! I'd say I'm a [Glitter] Grandmaster. Glit-ah glit-ah! Falls down to us from the moon! Or rises up from the depths below! Too heavy or too light, to stick around for long. Unless... They used to sell this stuff for 5m Honey a pouch. That was a lot back then, I'll have you know. Not for me, of course. For others, yes. ... You look so familiar... Your bees.. no, no they don't look that familiar. Anyways, here you are. Let's keep busy, hmm. If you complete just 9 more quests, I'll give you a [Spirit Petal]. You've heard of them, surely. You've got 35 bees. Don't you read the wiki? Well you'll need these [Spirit Petals] to craft the items I'm wearing: The [Petal Wand] and the [Petal Belt]! The magic of nature itself can be channeled through them... To fire Petal Shurikens all around you! Like some sort of gardening ninja! When those fly through your bees, the bees instantly convert some pollen to honey. Exceedingly useful. Practically a necessity, even. I am the only one with [Spirit Petals] as far as I know. I've got plenty. Inherited them years ago. I take good care of them. It's my duty to preserve them and distribute them to beekeepers like you. LIKE you. Not you. Not yet, dear. 9 more quests for the 1st one.
The First Offering |
The Wind Shrine: a beautiful - mystical - icon of the mountain. Older than most things here - older than me! Can you believe it? Not as old as some things. But older than most things. And through it, we maintain a living bond with a certain past. All of us - the bears, the bees, the Robloxians or whatever you are... Blow through time like petals in an evening's breeze. The Shrine stands sturdily, solemnly... As a constant reminder of that fleeting dance. It also acts as a convenient time gate, and item sink, for the sake of this game. Donate something to the Wind Shrine, and many things could happen. Usually it will stir up the winds spawning Clouds and providing perks to certain fields. But it also acts as the means of obtaining a [Windy Bee Egg]. Windy Bee - oh, you could say it's a favorite of mine. An unpredictable creature difficult to grasp. So delicate yet so powerful! And certainly the most beautiful, yes yes. Are you listening to us now, Windy Bee? ... Don't be coy! Not with me! ...(She tosses a handful of dried petals into the air)... ...(She watches them intently as they swirl and fall)... ... Heheheh! Alright then. Swirl away like the rest of them! ...(The petals blow away into the fields)... Look, one's stuck to Black Bear's head. Don't tell him! Right - why don't you give the Wind Shrine a try? Test your luck with a [Cloud Vial]. Maybe Windy won't be so coy with you. But that's not all, of course. Oh no no... The Pumpkin Patch... The Clover Field... The Blueberries... They're ready for you now! -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...too...loud... ...people...staring... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Shush up Stick Bug! Shush!! Oh, it's you dear. The Wind Shrine... Ah, you offered it a Cloud Vial... Windy Bee didn't respond - of course not. You haven't offered a [Spirit Petal]. You'll need to do that before Windy Bee will even think about calling back to you. Still, your favor with Windy Bee has gone up. In time, it'll come. My apologies, dear. I'm so forgetful. Anyways, well done! Yes yes. Easy stuff for you! Easy stuff for many. Still easy for you! That's right - don't worry about the others. The Leaderboards - pretend they don't exist. Your first [Spirit Petal] will arrive after you complete 8 more quests.
Rules Of The Road |
I'm not blind! I'll say it - Honey rules the world! The rules of all roads are written in honey, roads paved in honey. This mountain is nothing but a hulking honeymaking [sic] highway to nowhere! Honey for this, honey for that. Why? We can't eat all this honey. You bees, yes you. Buzzing arounds [sic] like you don't understand me. You did this! This is your fault! They are YOUR rules. ...(She closes here [sic] eyes, smiles)... Oh, but they are sweet. Yes, yes very sweet. Honey is very sweet. [Strawberries] and [Pineapple], they're sweet, not as sweet. Us bears, we just can't get enough honey. Isn't that right, Honey Bear? Not you dear. The Honey Bear. He can eat all this honey! He did eat all this honey and he'll do it again! Bees, who am I talking about? Your partner in crime in this great honeymaking conspiracy! Who is your TRUE KEEPER? (Her eyes dart towards the eyes of each of your bees) Nothing to say? Heheheh. (She tosses petals into the air) Wee, there are other worlds with other rules! ... Oh, what am I on about? Keep me straight, dear. We've got questing to do, you know that. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...not...quite... ...red...blue... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) That's not even a real color! Oh! There you are, dear. You startled me. All done, good good. Complete 7 more quests, and I'll give you your first [Spirit Petal]. ... Do you read what I say? You know, at your age, I wouldn't have. Oh no. No no no. I sped through it all. My sister - she was even worse than me. Worse in both ways, she didn't read and she talked for miles! We'd both somehow talk and talk, and nothing would be said. We take after our mother. Now she was a true rambler! But everything she said, it had a purpose. I thought so. I couldn't tell you what it was, though.
QR Quest |
... ...(She's sleeping)... ... ...(You try to wake her, but she doesn't react)... ...(You notice a note rolled loosely in her hand)... (It reads:) No soliciting. Do not wake. If you are a beekeeper looking for a quest [sic] Please scan this code with your Quest Menu [sic] (You scan the code with your Quest Menu) (It brings you to Spirit Bear's website) (It appears incredibly old) (Top and center, there's a highly compressed image of young Spirit Bear) (Below that, a crude animated gif of Windy Bee flying across the screen) (Below that, a list of the quest tasks loads very slowly) (You write them all down) (Toward the bottom of the website there's an icon says [sic] "Sign My Guestbook") (You click on it, but it fails to load) (Below that, a page visit counter that reads 23488) (You reload the page, but the counter doesn't go up) -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...daily...specials... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) You call yourself a "Gifted" Bee and you can't even read? Oh! There you are, dear. Sorry, just catching up on sleep. Let me tell you, I just had the strangest dream. Stick Bug and I were having a picnic in the Bamboo Field, as we do. Well, we used to, it's been ages, anyhow: I opened our picnic basket, and out flew a Frosty Bee. I figured Stick Bug put it there to keep our food cool. But when I reached inside, there was no food! I said, "Stick Bug, didn't you pack something for us to eat?" He said to me "Panda Bear is bringing the food." I thought, well OK, but then why did we bring this basket? Before long, Panda Bear arrived. But it was strange. He brought us menus and asked to take our order. The Frosty Bee buzzed into my ear: "Can you tell me if they've got [Blueberries]?" And I woke up! Hmm... when I say it out loud, it doesn't sound so strange. Anyhow dear, let me give you your rewards. ... Let me just look up again what they are. Give me a moment. (She loads her website on her Quest Menu) You know, this website, it wasn't my idea - I didn't set it up. I still hardly understand it, it works though... ... Let me just sign in now. I have to sign in to see the quest rewards. What was my password... give me a second, dear. I always forget... I don't - wait. I think I have it written down. I know it has to do with "bees". It is something like, "BeesBuzz123". ... Yes, yes that's it. Here we are, take these. Complete 6 more quests and I'll give you the first [Spirit Petal]!
Pleasant Pastimes |
... This beautiful world of ours... Is it our only world? Maybe... Maybe not... How could we know? We can't know, can we? Hehe. What's it matter, hmm. We know and don't know what we can. Probably? Certainly? Oooh, isn't it all the same? Would it be any different if this were only a game? I wouldn't change my ways, oh no. I do what I like! ...(She dozes off for a minute)... As long as I'm able, there's things that I'll do. You know, ever since I was young, you know one thing... One thing I've always loved. Two things actually. Two things I've done since I was just a cub. Well, theres [sic] a few other things, but these two things... Oh, I hope they never go away. They shouldn't. That's playing the Memory Match, and tossing [Jelly Beans]. Yes, yes. Even back then, they had Memory Match. Pay a bit of honey and test your memory (and your luck)! Helps keep you sharp, and fills your inventory with rare goodies. Like [Jelly Beans] - Toss them around, share them with friends. Generosity - feels good and makes you quite popular! As a cub, I didn't have many friends. Isn't that sad? Hah. My sister, yes, she was my friend. But she had to be! I didn't have many friends, until [Jelly Beans] came along. That's right - winning [Jelly Beans] in Memory Match is how you earn friends. ... Everything changes, over time. So it seems. But now Memory Match. Oh no, that's a constant. Who could resist? As I've gotten older. I'd say I've only grown to love it more. Although I'm not quite as good as I used to be... heh. ... Is there something you need? Oh! Oh, right. Yes. Your next quest. Your 5th quest! A milestone. A real milestone. You'll need to be prepared to go any further. Are you keeping up with your badges? You should, really. To be sure, I won't let you move beyond this quest until you've collected 15 Ace Badges. Ace is the 3rd rank in each set of badges. Keep up! Complete this one, and I've got a special [Star Jelly] for you... Go out and partake in pasttimes [sic]! Let's make them traditions. You'll need more than a few of these. If you need even more [Jelly Beans], you'll have to take them back from the ants. In the Ant Challenge. That's probably the fastest way to get them, [Jelly Beans]. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...new...mask... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) 100 [Glitters], are you out of your mind? Oh! There you are, dear. Tell me, did you make any friends out there? Hehe, what's it matter. Who needs friends when you've got bees. Hmm, moving along rather swiftly. Yes... but don't get ahead of yourself. Don't you know how these work by now? They start easy and ramp up. That's right - like many things in life, they just get more and more difficult! But you get stronger and stronger as well, don't you? Your bees, they get stronger. Look at them. (She smiles at you bees) Yes, you. Precious. You all grow stronger together with every quest. Every day, stronger and more determined! But you can only go so far on strength and determination alone. You'll need your wits, maybe a little divine intervention... If you want to go all the way. A gift to set you apart. Gifted Bees to set you apart. A gift from me - a [Star Jelly] from me, dear. Complete 5 more quests and I'll give you the first [Spirit Petal]. But first, give Spirit Bear some alone time. She's off to the Memory Match.
Nature's Lessons |
The majesty of nature exceeds anything we could ever create ourselves. Profoundly clever - the things nature can do. Yes, my entire life, I've spent it in awe of nature. I've tried to understand it, truly understand it. I've had to listen to it, really listen. Yes, it's so easy for us to speak over nature... To see in it what we've already seen/ What we want to see. Opening your eyes is not enough, not to truly see. ...(She closes her eyes)... Hmm. Feel that gentle breeze. It wants to tell you something... Smell the rich aroma of the flowers, and of the earth. It wants to show you something... In so many ways, nature wants to inform us. But unfortunately for us, it's ways are not always our own! ... This is practical stuff, dear. Pay attention now. "Crazy old Spirit Bear rambles on for hours about listening to trees" Yes I know what it sounds like! I know! But look at what I'm holding, hmm. See any other bears with one of these? No you don't. That's because they don't know how to make them. Even if they did, they wouldn't know how to use them. You could read a thousand books of collector mechanics... And learn less than you would in a single day of gardening. Not usually, no. This doesn't work for everybody. But those who know, know... I know... heheh... Nature... ... ...5 more quests... ... [Spirit Petal]... ...(She's fallen asleep)... -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...honey...stuck... ...bear... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) You're turning it the wrong way, you red-headed half wit! Oh! There you are, dear. Let me, let me tell you a few things about plants. Sprouts specifically. Different fields yeild [sic] different rewards through Sprouts. The fields up here, up in the 35 bee zone... Offer more treats in general. If you are looking to pad your pockets with a variety of treats. I suggest planting [Magic Beans] in the Pepper Patch. Now - if you're looking for a specific treats [sic], you have options. Sprout in the Sunflower Field yield 7 times more [Sunflower Seeds] than in typical fields. Similarly, the Pineapple Patch yields 7 times more [Pineapples]. Fields with mostly red flowers yield 4 times more [Strawberries] While primarily blue fields yield 6 times more [Blueberry]. The Strawberry Field yeilds [sic] twice as many [Strawberries] as other red fields. And Coconut Field is the only field in which Sprout grants [Coconuts] and [Tropical Drinks]. The Coconut Field also grants about twice as many of each treat. It's good overall. Each of the fields is a little different, you see. And these numbers - well, they're subject to change, and aren't necessarily 100% accurate.. [sic] Try planting more sprouts to figure out more. It's important to harvest Sprouts in the correct fields to obtain the ingredients you need. Hmm... What other things, about Sprouts... Give me a second, dear. ...(She takes out a book from her [Petal Belt])... Hmm... ...(She takes out her reading glasses from her [Petal Belt] and puts them on)... Sprouts. Sprouty sprouty sprouts... Mmmhmmm... Oh yes! Yes. Sprouts planted at night have an over 65% chance of becoming Moon Sprouts. Moon Sprouts always grant Moon Charms, that's right. And Moon Sprouts in the 35 Zone yield on average about 20% more Moon Charms. Interesting stuff, isn't it? The variety of nature is endlessly facinating [sic]. I could go on for hours about it - and I do, regularly. Science Bear and I have had countless discussions on the subject. Such an intelligent bear, with a true thirst for knowledge! His means of acquiring it, perhaps not as effective as he thinks. But it's reassuring to see the younger generation have a true interest in nature! Mmhmm... Alright then. Complete 4 more quests and I'll give you the first [Spirit Petal].
The Gifts Of Life |
What does it mean to be "gifted, hmm? Are some bees just better than the others? A silly phrase! Just silly. We're all gifted - sounds sappy but it's true! Perspective is everything. If theres [sic] anything I know, it's that. What would life be without the challenges each one of us faces in our own way? Now - I'm not saying all challenges are good... But I'm also not saying that all challenges are bad. No no. These are the only gifts I care about: The gift of life! The gift of nature. The marvelous things we experience through those gifts alone, Are [sic] enough to validate us all! Even the most Basic of Basic Bees. Now, with that said... You're in the honeymaking [sic] business. Making ever more honey is your challenge [sic entire sentence]. For now, at least. And for this practical purpose, "Gifted" Bees truly are a gift. They collect 50% more pollen, convert 50% more pollen to honey at a time... Deal 50% more damage when defending you from enemies... Offer stat bonuses to your entire hive! And even spawn "Inspire" tokens which dramatically boost your pollen for 5 seconds. We appreciate all bees - their variety of traits, talents and hinderences... [sic] Reveal to us the benefits and strengths of all others. Each one shines a singular light, and together, they reveal the full picture. Your humble beginnings provide the context in which your accomplishments have meaning at all. Do you get what I'm trying to say, dear? Yes?... Well, don't dwell on it. Just know that a gift's not a gift alone... A gift giver can't give gifts to someone who doesn't appreciate it! -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...too...rare... ...too...be... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Mythical shmithical! These aren't for you! Oh! There you are, dear. Hmm... Have I told you about my years living over seas? And more! Far far away, in distant lands all over... As a young bear I was quite adventureous [sic]. Almost too adventurous! Not everywhere is as relaxing and safe as where we are now. I was never a trouble maker, no no... Never got into anything I shouldn't have, I wouldn't say. But like most bears, I had a wild side. Have a wild side! Heheh. No no... Wild is too much work. I take it easy now. (Cough) All around. Forest, mountains, seasides... [sic] Not deserts, no. Far too hot - no flowers or plants. But all over, wherever there was adventure, I went. my sister, she was the opposite. She was adventurous, but not in the same way. Not as brave. Bless her heart. She'd never step foot on a boat. I've been on boats, and in planes. And I've been to places you can't reach in either of those! Would you believe me if I said I've been to space? How about the clouds? Me, a bear attuned to the winds and weather. Not so unbelievable, is it? Yes, living up in the sky, watching the world below. That's where I met Windy Bee! ... Listen to me! I must sound ridiculous. You've got to understand something about me, dear: If you're hoping for a purpose to my rambling, you're hopeless! Oh, what's it matter. Just 3 more quests and I'll give you the first [Spirit Petal].
Out-Questing Question |
Who are we? You and I, and the bears of the mountain. Oooh, a frightening question, when you really get to thinking about it. Frightening? Yes... There's nothing to fear but fear itself. Itself - is that us? Heh. No, but really... Who are you? Are you what you do? Is what you do it is because you do it? Those two together - That wouldn't make any sense, now would it? Why do I give quests to beekeepers like you? Why do you talk to bears like me? AH! There's no end to the questions - just a bottomless pit of answer. Don't look down, you could get dizzy! ... Who am I? I'm Spirit Bear! I could be many bears, I probably am. I could be Onett (whose typing right now), but mainly I'm Spirit Bear. You're a beekeeper completing quests to earn my Spirit Petals. That's not all you are, but you're mainly that, at least to me. Can't we leave it at that! ...(She smiles at your bees)... They know who they are. They know. ... Hmm... You're very close to that [Spirit Petal] now! Let me give you some information about it so you have time to make a decision. With the [Spirit Petal], you can craft either of the Petal items I'm wearing... But you can also use it to activate a chance to obtain Windy Bee. Donate it to the Wind Shrine, and from that point on... Any [Cloud Vial] you donate to the Wind Shrine will have a chance of giving: A [Windy Bee Egg]! Now, this is not a guaranteed thing. Oh no. Far from it. Windy can be an unreliable - downright fickle bee. That's right, do you hear me Windy? ... (She throws some petals into the air) FICKLE bee! Do you hear me now? (Cough) Every donation you make to the Wind Shrine impresses Windy Bee more. Rare items are preferred, but every offering is appreciated. Increases your favor with Windy, and thus increases your odds of obtaining the egg. In addition, increased favor results in greater rewards from the Shrine in general. Listen to the Wind Shrine's responses - they give you insight into where your favor stands. Over time, slowly but surely, you'll win the bee over. It took me ages! Ages, yes. Windy Bee wasn't always as sociable as it is now, you can thank me for that. ... Who am I... hah... I'm the bear who planted half the plants you see on this mountain! Like you don't know who I am, pfft. Well, not half. Not quite that quite that many, but still. ...(She opens her quest menu)... Give me a second, dear. ...(She's loading up some quest information)... Pineapples, sparkles... Aren't those a bit weird. Gross. Sparkles... The plants spit out bubbles and you collect it. Quite nasty when you think about it. What have we learned today: don't think too much about anything! Hmm... Alright. There we are. They're ramping up now! Get ready! But first, how about some Memory Match? I've got it on my Quest Menu computer thing. You play with that while I take a little nap... -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...blue... ...berries... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) You're coo-coo! Coo-coo for [Coconuts]! Oh! There you are dear. You know, that Blue Flower Field? Well, it used to be a [Blueberry] Field. There are still some [Blueberries] growing in it, yes. ...Hmm Those [Blueberries] are lurking around in many of the fields now, actually. Still, they're not as common as they used to be. What happened to them? Good question, dear. I don't know what happened to them. ...(She stares into the distance)... Mmm... [Blueberries] are healthy for you, though. I ate a lot of them as a cub. And I'm still healthy! My age - now that's a real testament to their health benefits. Oh, and let me just say, that bowl of [Blueberries] drizzled in honey... Now that's a treat that's hard to beat. Heheh. ... Are you - are you here for some [Blueberries]? Oh! Oh your quest. Ok, well I can help with that. But you should take at least one of these [Blueberries], really. Please dear I have too many of them, do take one.
Forcefully Friendly |
What do you think of us bears? You can be honest with me, dear. I won't tell the others what you say. You know, some people, they say we're a bit simple around here. That we don't - don't get out much. They're not wrong. Well, about me, yes they're wrong. But most bears on this mountain... Oh, they don't know much about the world outside it. Well, I really shouldn't generalize like that, no no. Polar Bear isn't even from this mountain. But still... he hasn't been around. Science Bear, he knows about the world from books. But has he left? I don't recall. The younger bears, they really ought to get out there... while they're young. It's important to see the world - to put everything into perspective. Put it in perspective while your mind is still forming. There's more to life than collecting pollen and making honey. You wouldn't believe that if you spent every day here! Hmm... Many of the fruits here, well, they're a result of my traveling. The [Strawberries]? I bought them here myself, picked them wild from Sweden. The Pineapple Patch, well, I didn't bring those, but they're foreign nonetheless. Can you imagine? A Bee Swarm Simulator without [Pineapples]? Without [Enzymes]? I can. It wasn't very different, honestly. But many of the bees do truly love those [Pineapples]. ...(Yawn)... Oooh, that's one thing I hope you beekeepers take away from these quests. No - not the [Pineapples], dear. I hope you take away a fond impression of us bears. That we leave a little mark on you - that you let us do so! Even if we are a bit simple around here. Every seemingly simple person, well they're still worth understanding. Yes... we're all simple in our own ways, aren't we? Hmmm, why am I on about this? Oh yes! The reason I was asking. You see, I've been told - I won't say by who. But by some. I've been told us bears on this mountain come off as TOO friendly. Yes, yes. Too friendly. Can you believe it? So friendly - almost artificially friendly. Like we want something! You know, after some of the places I've been, and things I've seen. I say what's the harm in that? In being as friendly as possible? Is it always genuine? What's it matter? ...(She smiles at your bees)... Bees, always selfless, and always friendly. Or so it seems... I can talk to these bees, you know. Without a gizmo or gadget. I can talk to a dang coconut tree. That's one of my powers, dear: When you understand nature's language, you can talk to anything. I hear them when they don't think anyone can hear them. And guess what? They're all a bit cranky - all the time. You would never know it! They live their entire lives with a smile on their faces. Well, that's not the right way to put it... Exhausted Bee, that's not a smile. But what I mean to say is - they don't take things out on the world. No, the opposite. They actively work to take things in. Even when they're upset. And you know your bees, don't you? You wouldn't call them "fake", hmm? Well they are fake bees, dear. Keep everything perspective. But what I mean is - what's the difference between pretending and being? Nothing at all. Not in the long run. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...not...treats... ...can't...eat... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Get those [Gumdrops] out of your mouth! Security! Oh! There you are, dear. No, wait. It's just you. You're not her... I'm still happy to see you, though! Or am I... Heheeh. I am, I am. But let me tell you: if she doesn't get here soon, she's fired. That's right! Even a friendly bear like me has to be firm at times. And I need to make my appointments, and I can't get there alone. I see you down there, Mother Bear! You know I like to arrive early! She can't hear me. None of them can ever hear me, suspicious. ... Wait, what day is it? My appointment isn't today. Oh! And I snapped at her like that. "Too friendly"? HAH! No, definitely not, not me at least. Anyways, just one more quest until that first [Spirit Petal]!
Sway Away |
Ahhh... feel that gentle breeze. Close your eyes, and let it move you... Sway, sway. Don't fall over now, but let yourself sway. Until you float away, like the millions of leaves and petals that float away each day... Let it take you whereever [sic] it may. ...(She smiles and sways)... ... ...(She does this for some time)... ... .... ..... ...... ....... Yes... swaying away... ........ ......... .......... 👏 (She claps her hands abruptly) STOP! Where have you landed? Hmm? Confused? Well, it takes a while to get you groundings. Here's a hint: A [Spirit Petal] is approaching fast! You've arrived at your 10th quest, 10th quest of mine. Those winds that brought you here - those weren't just any winds. (She gaze [sic] up at the Wind Shrine) Not just any winds... Oh, Windy Bee? Darling dear. Why'd you blow this one on over to me? ... Speak up now, Windy. Don't be shy. (She closes her eyes again) Mmm... I see. I see. Yes... ... Sometimes the breeze doesn't want to take you anywhere. Sometimes it just wants something to push up against. To test its own strength? Who knows! Say you were a breeze, and this next quest were you. What fun would it be to blow right through you without any resistance at all? The winds are only as strong as what they can move. How strong are you, breezy beekeeper? Strong enough to handle this? (She bops you on the head with her [Petal Wand]) Mmm, yes, yes. Feel it, and fight it... Dig your heels into the earth... And sway... Sway... Sway away... ... (She's fallen asleep) -During- Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...pumpkins... ...dirty... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Keep your nasty Nymphs out my pumpkins! Oh! There you are, dear. How was it out there with Windy? Hah! Put that little pest in its place didn't you now. It's all in good fun. Windy Bee loves nothing more than a little mayhem. Isn't that right? ... Have I ever told you, you look quite familiar. I can't quite put my paw on it... On it... you do look a bit like Onett... But you all look rather similar to me. No offense, dear. In a good way, it's a charming look. But he's not who I'm thinking of... Who... Hmm, nevermind [sic]. You know, I've met so many different people in my life. So many types, all shapes and sizes. Bears, yes. Every type of bear. But others too! More than I can remember. All I can remember is that there were more than I can remember! Shouldn't surprise me anymore, that every face looks familiar. (She digs through her [Petal Belt]) Give me a second, dear. ... Ah. Here we are. My water bottle. Quite thirsty. My mouth is simply parched. (She struggles to open the cap of her water bottle) Why is this so tight? Who do they make these for? Can you open this for Spirit Bear? (You open the water bottle for her) Thank you, dear. (She takes a drink) Mmhmm... yes... (She takes another drink) Ahh. So much better. The bottle is made of plastic that isn't quite so bad, you see. I care more than anymore about nature! You know that. I wouldn't just drink from a regular old water bottle. It dissolves over time... there's a word for it... Science Bear, he showed me these. They're degradable, yes. (She takes another drink) Mmm... Now, what was it you needed, honey bun? ... Quest? Whose quest? Oh! Yes, right. Splendid work out there! Impressive indeed. Ok, well. Goodbye! ... What's that? [Spirit Petal]? Oh no, dear. That's for the 10th - OH! Goodness! Forgive me. Of course this was your 10th quest. And with that, you've earned your first [Spirit Petal]. (Cough) Excuse me. Your first [Spirit Petal]: A precious, delicate object used in various rituals... That's what I've been told, at least. Rituals, maybe not so much anymore. For you, though, there's a few not-so-ritualistic options. If you donate it to the Wind Shrine... Then every [Cloud Vial] you donate to the Wind Shrine after that [sic] Will have a chance to win over Windy Bee, to reward you a [Windy Bee Egg]. It won't be easy though, oh no! You know by now that bee doesn't make things easy. Each offering you make to the Wind Shrine impresses Windy ever-so-slightly more... It never forgets a single offering! And it expect [sic] an outrageous level of generosity. Windy Bee! You listening? Just who do you think you are? ... If fighting to flatter bee [sic] doesn't sound appealing to you... You may also use it to craft either a [Petal Wand] or [Petal Belt]. Both possess powers, natural powers, magical powers, not found in any other tool. No option is wrong. Depending on your situation, and the state of the game balance, Some of the options may be more efficient than others, but what's that matter? You'll get all three in time, won't you? (She takes a drink from her water bottle) Ahhhh. Much better.
Memories of Memories |
Look - turn around and look, another time, out over the mountain. What do you see? Flowers... bees... blocks and parts... yes. Surely something so familiar, you could see it with your eyes closed. You could list the fields, if you tried. You could name each of the bears, and probably at least most of the bees... So familiar to you, now that you are so familiar to it. How long would it take, if you left this place, to forget it? Well, certainly in time you'd forget the details... But details, they're forgotten all the time. What's left when those are gone? Hmm? Why am I asking so many questions? Hmm? All things that live come and go as sure as the sun rises and falls. Even surer than that! And when they do, they leave something behind. That something is us. Yes, that something is you! And I'm not just talking about your parents! Everything that lives and has lived. Our memories live and die as well. Fickler than a flower petal - memories. I don't even remember what I had for dinner yesterday! But when they do, when what we remember becomes what we forgot. They leave behind even more than we could imagine. (Yawn) Speaking of forgetting, I forgot to give you a [Glitter] last quest. At least 1 [Glitter] with every quest. That's the rule. Anyways, let's work on our memories together now, shall we? Memory Match! -During- Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...get... ...up...here... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) Completion- (Yawn) You can't stay in that tunnel forever! Oh! There you are, dear. You know, sleeping this much... it can't be a good sign. I try not to worry, really. My sister, goodness. New she was a real hypochondriac. Don't want to end up like her, no. But this can't be normal! I'm always, always tired. (Yaaawn) Ohh... hah. Just thinking about sleeping makes me sleepy. ... For years my sister would swear she was slowly developing a honey allergy. My sister. A honey allergy, can you imagine? In a bear? She would always claim she would bloat up, or get hives. I never saw anything wrong with her, neither did mother. But it got so sad, she swore off honey for years at one point! Until one hard day at work, came home and we were out of [Blueberries]. She gobbled up a whole pot of honey, got sick and blamed it on the allergy. I had enough at that point, of her honey-bashing. And enough of trying to convince her she was wrong. I said "I guess you were right! No more honey for you." "Mom, no more honey for her. Everyone, don't let her eat any honey!" "Protect my sister from herself!" And what do you know - the very next day, she was back to eating honey. Played dumb when we brought up the allergy - claimed the honey had changed. Different pollen... oh no, dear. You know it was the same. That's how she was. Couldn't be told what to do, even if it was her idea. Loved her to death, but she could be something. Anyways, why am I on about this? You've got another [Spirit Petal] to earn, yes? 9 more quests! They're picking up now. (Yawn) Oh... But I really shouldn't... (Yaaawn) ... (She's fallen asleep)
Beans Becoming |
Each plant starts as a tiny seed packed full of potential. A tiny pebble - can you believe it already knows what it wants to be? It has a desire, in a way. A good guess as to what it will be if all goes according to plan. But desire and planning can only go so far. And unfortunately for the seeds... It doesn't go nearly far enough. Thats [sic] where gardeners like myself come in. And gardeners like you, dear. Yes, you've planted a few seeds in your day. That makes you another gardener of the mountain. Welcome to the team! We offer nature a helping hand, that both guides - and is guided. We pull and pry, dig and water. The bees, they pollinate. They're gardeners too. Yes you, little ones! But we're not the boss of seeds. We can't make them do what they don't want to do. And they're not the boss of us, obviously. No, there's no bosses in the garden. We all work as a team. A team with one slightly stronger desire, and one slightly more thorough plan. But even that's not enough, oh no. There's always a twist. ... We have desires and potential, each of us. All living things. But any destination we choose for ourselves... Couldn't possibly live up to the places we go. To know ahead of time where we'll be, well. That would be like never going anywhere at all! The beauty of life, of nature, is what we never know. We can't. We strive, we grow, we do many things. But we can't know why we do them. Because we can't know what they will accomplish! Heheheh. Oh, here I go again. (She pulls a [Magic Bean] out of her [Petal Belt]) Little seed, [Magic Bean], what do you want to be when you grow up? ... Mmhmm... I see... ambitious... I hear you - but now hear me. How about you become one of these. (She whispers something to the [Magic Bean]) No? Well, I guess we'll just have to see. (She closes her eyes and rocks the [Magic Bean] back and forth) No bosses in nature. That's right, and no rules! Wanting, striving, growing, all together as a team. Full of potential, without a clue as to where we're going, and what we'll become. Isn't that right bees? (She smiles at your bees) Go on then, and take this with you. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...not...mine... ...why...no... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) I didn't order any [Night Bells]! You won't get a drop of honey from me! Oh! There you are, dear. ... Do you ever feel, sometimes, like someone is watching us? I'm not talking about the great Honey Bear in the sky. No - sometimes it's like you're right up on stage. Even though you're just, doing dishes. It could be anything, though. I feel that way often. And I just shrug it off. But maybe, maybe someone is watching us. (She glances over at the Wind Shrine) Well, SOMEONE is watching us. But I'm not talking about you. Hmm... Is it them? Out there? Not playing but watching. I see you people out there, watching others play - doing all the beekeeping for you. That's right, you can't hide from Spirit Bear. I have eyes everywhere. Every tree and cloud. You can't prove that I don't. So just know that while you're watching me on your tablet or what have you [sic sentence], I'm watching you, with my Quest Menu. You can't prove that I'm not. (She leans in and whispers to you) I don't have eyes anywhere, but they don't know that. Anyways, what was it you needed dear? ... You finished that quest already? Which quest? This quest? "Beans Becoming"? ... Are you sure? That one takes some time, now. ... Oh! Oh you did. Well then, 8 more and you'll earn the next [Spirit Petal]. (She looks up into the sky) Now, I'll just be over here taking my nap, not doing anything suspicious... No reason to watch me anymore. Definitely not over some online video sharing or streaming service. No, nothing to see here. (Don't forget to like and subscribe if you're here though)
Do You Bee-lieve In Magic? |
Magic! A loaded word... Almost taboo - magic. In this day and age. Only a fool would believe in magic! That's what they all say... Well then, call me a fool, because I believe. I know. (Cough) (She digs through her [Petal Belt] and pulls out some [Glitter]) Gli-tahhhhhh. How does it work? Do you know? (She tosses the [Glitter] into the air) Nobody knows! Nobody! But I know, heheheh. I know, and I can tell you, if you want. I don't have to tell you. But I can, if you like. (She leans over to you and whispers very quickly:) ...magic... Hah! You saw that coming! Open your eyes, fool! It's everywhere... Magic is what magic does - this world, it's magic! Yes, this world! Look around... All these things! That Special Sprout Summoner over there. How does it work? Yes, very true. There are scripts involved. They're machines - they've got mechanics. But that's not HOW they work - you've got it backwards! That's WHY they work. But how? Magic! "But Spirit Bear, you're confused". Pfft. That's what they've always said. And that's what I always say back: Pfft! Just like that. Nothing you see, can be seen through being comprehended, you see? That's not how things become things! No no. To comprehended is to forget. You can't investigate magic - goodness no. It'll slip right through your fingers. Don't grasp it - behold it. Bees hold it, don't you bees? (She smiles at your bees) You guys are just covered in [Glitter], what a mess. Not my mess! Have fun with that beekeeper. Heheh. Now, go out there and try your best. ... To do what? Really, dear? Have you been listening to me at all? Eh, what's it matter. Just get out there and behold the magic! Bask and behold, in the mystic moonlight of this magical mountain! -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...stop...wink... ...not...funny... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Don't wink at me you Basic bumpkin! Oh! There you are, dear. And you did the things I told you? (Yawn) The things I wrote down in your Quest Menu, each one? Give Spirit Bear a moment, she's still waking up. ...(She closes her eyes)... ... Mmhmm. You did the things I asked? ... Yes... ... (She's fallen asleep) (Yawn) I said don't wink! No [Treats] for you! Oh! There you are, dear. And you did the things I told you? ... What's that? I already asked you this? Oh, silly me. My apologies. (Yawn) Hmm... Give Spirit Bear a moment, she's still... waking up. ... (She's fallen asleep) (You think it's best not to wake her this time) (You reach into her [Petal Belt] to retrieve your quest rewards) (You suddenly remember that you have 7 more quests until the [Spirit Petal])
The Ways Of The Winds / The Wind And Its Ways |
Oh, come quick. Listen here, dear. I need an unbiased opinion. Which sounds better to you: "The Ways of the Winds" Or: "The Wind And Its Ways"? Very similar, I know. But subtleties of language are what set us apart... From the, the you know whats [sic]. (She glances over at your bees) What? So what I'm talking about you bees. Yes I know I can understand you, yes! This isn't important now, I've got to figure this- (Something in her [Petal Belt] starts ringing) I've got to figure out what I'm going to call... (She digs through her [Petal Belt] and turns off the ringing) What I'll call this quest. I need to know it now, dear, and I am stuck. So indecisive sometimes, my biggest weakness. Well, I wouldn't say biggest weakness, I've gotten much better with it. Still I - I need your help. (Something in her [Petal Belt] starts ringing) Is he serious? I hang up on him and he calls me right back? What if I was at the movies? What? I could be at the movies. You don't know what I do in my free time. Older bears go to the movies too, they probably, maybe more frequently... (The ringing continues) (She digs into her [Petal Belt] and turns it off) How can I make it so that this doesn't ring, so it doesn't let people call me? Do you know how, dear? Why is it so complicated to do something like that. It's a very basic aspect of the device. I should be able to have it on, But it not make [sic wording] that unbearable ringing and buzzing. ... I see, thank you very much, that's much better. But I still need to know! Onett up there, he's no use: He wants me to come up with these. I am retired. I've made that very clear to him and to all of you. When I give quests, it's what I like. I do what I like now. He thinks he's my boss - no no, no bosses here. ... "The Ways of the Winds" "The Wind And Its Ways" What even is this for? Why, why have I chosen wind related titles? My quests, well, quite frankly They have very little unity between what I say and have you do. Why am I so worried over this? Oh, goodness, listen to me. Just like my mother. Always worried - imagine, how my young sister and I felt all the time. With her pacing, pulling her fur, ach - her worst habit. Pulling her fur! There'd [sic] be nothing to worry about. Until her nervous habits gave her something to worry about! ... Why am I on about this... Eh, what's it matter. When it comes to quests, dear, I should think about whats [sic] right, Not what sounds good. What should this beekeeper, at this stage of their career, Be doing to challenge themselves and grow. If I had to make my quest names cohesive with every task, well Well [sic] there would be the most arbitrary, I say - The quests would just not be right. They would not be right. Here in this quest, for example: You have to donate a [Gold Egg] to the Wind Shrine. Yes I know - a [Gold Egg]. You aren't a beginner anymore, honey bun. Don't pretend like you've never received a [Gold Egg] from something. No? Well can you tell me what they sell for 100 [Tickets] in the Ticket Tent? Here's a hint, it's yellow and shiny, and round... ... Yes, 50 [Tickets]. What do you think those are for? You don't need Robux for 50 [Tickets], don't even try me like that. Well do things! Do the things that give you [Tickets], theres [sic] many of them. You have over 35 bees and we're seriously having a conversation about this? Do you think, do you think I need this stress right now, goodness He is - Onett is up there, probably trying to call me AGAIN and you, You are down here giving me this speil [sic] about not donating a [Gold Egg], good greif [sic]! You also have to use 3 [Cloud Vials] - You have to do these two things... That are only tangentially related to "wind" at all And I am here trying to choose between two "wind" related quest titles... You know what? You know what? Just take this quest and tell Onett that he can go juggle a [Jelly Bean] And I don't care, and if he calls me again, I will curse him straight up. I will use Windy Bee and place a wind curse on that man. And you too if you don't leave right now, and let Spirit Bear get some sleep. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...whose...in charge...here... ...chef... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Nymphs in my soup!? Explain, Panda. Oh! There you are, dear. Yes, I know. Let's just move on now. Spirit Bear, she needs her rest or she gets a little cranky. Everything is fine. I'm not mad at you. The next quest, it's one of those semi-milestone quests so, We have that to look forward to, so cheer up. You'll get 2 [Star Jellies] in that one. You like [Star Jellies], yes? Well you also get some other things. I'm not telling you what, you'll have to finish the quest. Or you can look it up, I'm not your boss. No bosses here, right? So let's keep on, now! 6 more quests until the second [Spirit Petal]!
Beauty Duty |
White flowers, they received the short end of the stick, didn't they? Colored bees and boosts make collecting colored pollen a breeze. But White Boosts are hard to come by... Well, not for you, Windy Bee. But you're just special. Despite this, white flowers are a personal favorite of mine. I find them exceptionally beautiful in their simplicity. You could probably tell, based on my attire. Yes... Beautiful enough to wear... (She closes her eyes) You know, as a young bear, my fur was a brilliant shade of white. Not like a polar bear, no. Not so harsh. A bit... softer, creamier. I was quite proud of my fur. Well, I was quite proud in general. My sister, she always jealous of my fur. She would never admit it, but it was clear to see. She was a lovely bear, mind you. But her fur, nothing to write home about. It didn't help that I was also the sharper of the two of us. Ahh, listen to me. I must sound so conceited. ... (She takes deep breath and sighs) I've always been obsessed with beauty, mmhmm. Even my obsession with nature - I believe that's an extension of my obsession with beauty. To appreciate beauty, is to appreciate life. Tell me, what would be the point of it all? If we didn't find it beautiful? Have we not always aspired towards ever more beauty - Beauty in ourselves. Beauty in our lives. To take in the beauty of nature. This vessel I live in, my body. I'm in it for the long haul. Well, maybe not so long now. Haah! Morbid. If I didn't appreciate the beauty of the thing most intimate of me - My own body. If I didn't appreciate and care of it, Then I'd never realized how beautiful life can be Especially when the beauty you see, starts to rub off on others. Hmm... (She grabs a petal from her [Petal Belt] and looks at it) Hard work! Our bodies, aren't they? They don't always share our ambitions. In fact I'd say they usually don't. But isn't that part of their charm? (She crushes the petal up between her finger and sprinkles it on the ground) They're always ready to turn to dust, back into dust Like the dust they came from. (Yawn) But as long as we see the beauty in life We're not having any of that, no. ... Elegance, serenity... These are what I live for. What I know to be beautiful. And I've always done my duty to make sure that beauty can be seen by others too. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...cosmic...honeydew... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Get your gooey paws off my petals! Oh! There you are, dear. Tell me, did the Coconut Crab give you any trouble? That big bobbling bully... I didn't invite you here, crab! These [Coconuts] - another one of my imports, as you probably guessed. Took a few attempts to asstablish [sic] the [Coconut] trees. Had to bring in a few crates of [Coconuts], and in one of them A [sic] tiny little crab managed to sneak in. Just one! Now, believe me - I inspected those crates. I'm no amateur, I'm well aware of the threats of invasive species. Yes, I've been working to protect our environment since before Science Bear was born! But nobody's perfect, dear. (Cough) Nobody. And if you slip up, even once, well The consequences can haunt you forever. (She glares over at the Coconut Cave) Cursed crab, making a mess of that field! Attacking the bees and their keepers! Yes, I know you're one of natures [sic] creations as well. Beautiful in your own way - but you don't belong here! (Sigh) What's it matter. Whose to say where anything belongs? That's what I would say, if I never took responsibility for my own actions. Anyways, here's a special reward! 5 more quests and the second [Spirit Petal] will be yours.
Witness Grandeur |
This mountain is a constant source of inspiration. Nature has a way of illuminating to us, new paths... New ways, of feeling, and of seeing. 👏 (She claps her hands abruptly) Like a thunder CLAP! Seemingly from out of nothing! With a flash of light, and a roar through a valley... Nature reminds us, all the time, in sudden ways we can't ignore... That there's more to life than what we already know. (She points up at the mountain) How can something so big, so old, so... unchanging Inspire anything new at all? Hmm? Well. Just look at it! (She looks at it for some time) ... Still, nothing? Well, just take my word for it. Maye [sic] you'll find it in other things, who knows. Anything so grand, so imposing... That you can't deny it. You can't! No no - you can pretend you can, but you can't. And if somehow you can, well... I feel sorry for you dear. Sorry, because to witness grandeur - That's how we know we're still growing, and can still grow. Mm... Well, we grow in lots of ways. Yes yes. I'm talking about a figuritive [sic] way, but let's move on. You've got more growing to do, as a beekeeper that is. Questing questing questing! That's the key to growing there. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...bombs...boo... ...you...two... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) You call yourself a Rascal - I'll call you just plain RUDE. Oh! There you are, dear. ... I apologize, I've forgotten your name. I'm so bad with names... I never forget a face but, names... I'm just terrible. Oh yes! Yes I remember now. And what were we doing again? Quests? ... Wait, don't tell me. Give Spirit Bear a moment... it'll all come back (Yawn) All come back to me after I wake up. Let me just do a few stretches now. (She slowly lifts her arms up and down) Do you know Brown Bear? Over by the Clover Field, the bear with a straight nose, and his fur Well his fur, it's brown. Yes, that one. He's always been a bit reserved. Not shy! But reserved, mmhmm. I've known him since he was a cub. He'll talk to you, oh yes, he'll talk. But he never lets much out. There's conversation. And then there [sic] conversation. You know what I mean, yes? Well anyways [sic], the other day, I saw Brown Bear at the Wind Shrine. I'm here all the time, mind you, and I've never in my life seen him there. He never struck me as a spiritual bear. I was quite taken aback. I didn't ask him what he was doing there, that would be rude. I don't even think he saw me see him go there. I couldn't, couldn't make out if he was offering anything to it. I didn't hear the chimes, so I don't think he did. But he was there for quite some time. (She rocks her head back and stretches her neck) Ahhh, I'm waking up now. Oh yes! I remember. Here you are dear. Only 4 more to go until the second [Spirit Petal].
Beeternity |
How many times has this happened? How many times will it happen again? On and on, again and again, eternally recurring... A beekeeper - a hive of bees. A bear, a guide. Me. You. Them. (She glares at the eyes of each of your bees) Him. (She glares up at the mountain). You too! (She glares at the Wind Shrine). You over there. (She glares at Black Bear) And you! (She glares at Mother Bear) ... You! (She glares at Panda Bear) (Panda Bear look [sic] over for a moment) ... .... And him! (She glares at Science Bear) ... You and you! (She glares straight up into the sky) And all of you, ALL of you! (She glares behind your shoulder) How long can this go on? How long HAS it gone on?? Good question. Who knows! Who knows. Not even I know. Or do I? Heheh. I don't, unless... But listen here: I have a feeling that it will never end. You will always come back to me. I will always give this quest to you. In so many ways, in ways more distant and yet also more familiar Than we can possibly imagine. This mountain is more my home than I could ever make my home! Each voyage I've made, wasn't a voyage at all - it was a homecoming too! Your bees, when they hatch. They're familiar faces. And all mysteries, and all magics - echoes of our own lives. (She tosses petals into the air) There we go again! Isn't it just like us? To swarm around like that, dancing! Dancing! Blow away! Try your best! (She watches the petals float away) You'll be back before you know it! (She takes a [Coconut] out of her [Petal Belt]) (She tosses it off the cliff) (It makes a loud thud and cracks) OFF it goes! Don't worry, that one will be back too. And so will you, dear. This quest shouldn't take too long. But before you go, how about a little you know what. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...snap...twig... ...chop...suey... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Test me one more time and I'll be using you as chop sticks! Oh! There you are, dear. Have I ever told you, you look so familiar. I have? Of course I have. Yes, with the whole speil [sic] on eternity and everything happening again and all. But have I asked you recently? I have? Hmm... ... Did we figure out who it could be? Who you could look like, dear. My memory isn't what it used to be. We didn't? I feel it's someone specifically. Someone so specific. Hmm... Well, what's it matter. It's always like this with me. Déjà vu - the story of my life! It would almost be romantic If I wasn't worried about losing my mind. Goodness, minds, so fickle. Take care of your mind, dear. Stay sharp. Keep it busy. And eat a healthy diet. Please, you don't want to end up like Spirit Bear. Well, in some ways. It would be nice to end up like me in some ways. But trust me, you don't want to be this forgetful! Anyways, moving on. 3 more quests until the second [Spirit Petal].
A Breath Of Blue |
Did I seriously do that? Did I forget to give you [Glitters] after that last quest? I can be literally ranting about my forgetfulness... And then immediately forget something so important. Nevermind, I'll give them to you in a second. For now, let's try something. Something I read about in magazine. ... Ok, just close your eyes. (She closes her eyes) Now, take a deeeep breath. (She takes a deep breath) Sloooowly release it... ... Now, tip your head up, and leave it there. For 1... 2... 3 seconds. That's it. Now tip it all the way down, so that your chin almost touches your neck. As close as possible without straining yourself. Now take another deep breath, hold it. 1... 2.... 3..... Now exhale, and look up. Open your eyes. Good! How do you feel? Did it do anything? The magazine article, if I recall right, it said We should immediately notice a sense of clarity. What they meant by that, I don't know exactly. I supposed [sic] I do feel a bit different. Hmm... Yes, I see what they mean. I do feel it. Do you, dear? It would be subtle - don't expect anything drastic now. (Cough) Yes? No? Well, anyhow. Have you ever noticed the strange opening above the Pine Tree Forest? Almost directly across from where I'm facing, yes. Above that cloud... I'm guessing that's what Onett meant for that white block to be. Well, inside there you'll find the [Diamond Mask]. To reach it you'll need a [Moon Amulet], and it'll need to be night time. If those condition [sic] are met, moon shaped platforms will bridge the gap. That gaudy mask is bestowed with exceptional powers. It's particularly useful for collecting blue pollen. Its ability, [Diamond Drain], activates after every 25th Blue Boost token you collect And immediately converts a large percentage of your pollen to honey. But that amount goes down with each use until you return to your hive. Why am I bringing this up? Well, isn't it obvious? This quest will require a hefty amount of blue pollen. It wouldn't be a bad idea, if you haven't already, to pick up a [Diamond Mask]. ... The price? Oh, oh yes. Rather expensive. You wouldn't expect anything less from a mask made of diamonds. Well, it's something to keep in mind. Wealth comes when it comes. And when it does, the [Diamond Mask] will be waiting. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...good...cat... ...good...bee... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) I won't have a bee tell ME about astrology! Oh! There you are, dear. I just had the strangest, strangest dream. I was up in the 30 bee zone, up where Onett is. I was sitting way up high, near the Night Memory Match. In my lap, a Tabby Bee, purring away. I watched Onett, but it wasn't quite Onett. He was much taller, and he looked a bit like a bear. He opened that lid, and out popped Fireflies. And suddenly, my Tabby Bee, it was like a firefly too But different. Bigger. And it could talk. It said "The moon seems happy!" And I woke up! Hmm... Other things happened, but I can't remember them now. Don't you hate that? Why are dreams so hard to remember? ... Did you need something dear? Ah, goodness. Why is everything so hard to remember, for that matter? Of course, your quests. I know I know. Just 2 more until the second [Spirit Petal].
Glory Of Goo |
Honey rules this world, yes. It does. And goo, well, it rules other worlds. I know, I've seen. That annoying pink and blue, or teal, cyan even That sticky glop. I can't stand to touch it. Still, I know the value of goo. I've seen what it can do. I've seen empires built on gooey foundations. Sounds silly, no? Goo and honey, so similar, uncannily so. But from the deep depths of their differences... Their colors, their taste, their viscosities [sic], Arise consequences, trajectories that build very different worlds. Now - our world of honey. Their world (She looks over at your bees) It's rather gentle, relatively. Yes, that's a good way to put it. Slow, viscous, sun-kissed orange glow... The rhythm of our lives, here on this mountain. But not up there, in some places. Not way down there, in others. Honey has no power there! Not even over the bees! The bees, they don't even make honey in some places - they don't care! Can you imagine? Then what do they make? All sorts of things. There are many worlds with many rules. (Cough) Why am I on about this, on about goo? Did you ask me about goo, dear? ... Ah, I remember. So, this quest. Lots of goo in this quest. Other things too, but lots of goo. I'm trying to establish the mythos [sic] of stuff for you. Why would you bother collecting it if it had no meaning? Well, honestly most of you don't care one way or the other. You'll do whatever as long as you'll get the rewards. Yes... Well, I want to talk about it. It's fun for me. What good is all this knowledge I have if I can't force someone to listen to it? Anyways about the goo. This goo arrived at our mountain rather recently. It's not from around here, no. It was brought by the Gummy Bear. You know who. They know. (She looks over at your bees) You don't? Well, there's not much to explain. He's a bear made of [Gumdrops], thats [sic] why they call him that. And ever since, goo has altared [sic] the trajectory of our lives here. In subtle ways, very subtle. But that's how goo works, at first. Unless... Yes, it can get quite messy. Quite loud. No subtlety at all when Gummy Bear's around. (Yawn) Ahh, but he's not. He's up there. (She looks up) Over there. (She gestures towards the 20 bee zone) Give the Gummy Bee statue a [Gumdrop] if you ever want to see him. Maybe go do that while I take a little nap, now. Or do this quest. And bring some friends. Yes, share those [Gumdrops]. That's what they're for, presumably. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...sister...silly... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) You can't eat what you can't catch! Oh! There you are, dear. Can you help me with something. (She takes her Quest Menu out of her [Petal Belt]) This quest, I have a quest on here. I don't use this for quests - no - so I don't understand how it got here. (She shows the menu to you) (It isn't her Quest Menu, it's the Shop Menu) It wants me to buy these things, with Robux. My quest is to buy these things, so many things. (She points to the items in the Shop Menu). I don't have that many Robux! I don't buy Robux. And I don't need this quest, dear, I'm retired. I don't do quests. ... What's that? What do you mean? I have only one Quest Menu. No, this is my... (You open her Quest Menu) Oh! Oh goodness. It's gone! Thank you, dear, thank you. I was so worried there. What's that? Your quest? Oh right, yes yes. Let me just look up your rewards... ... OH! Oh I see... ... Nevermind, that wasn't your quest. That was another person's quest. Ok, here we are. Keep going now, the next quest rewards a [Spirit Petal]!
Tickle The Wind |
(She is staring at the Wind Shrine) Hmm... What? What is it? Not you, dear. You... (She squints her eyes at the shrine) ... Windy Bee, darling bee. Are you listening to us now? ... (Her eyes grow very wide) I see! Well... Beekeeper, I forget your name... Ah yes, you. Tell me, do you understand now why I've been giving you these quest [sic]? Hm? Yes? No... no that's not why. (She looks back at the Wind Shrine) What do you think? ... When the air is so still that not even a single flower sways And the birds stop chirping... The bees stop buzzing. The whole world seems to stop... But the clouds continue to slowly drift up in the sky. They cover the sun - we're soothed by their shade. They part, and the sun beats down on us again. There is no peace up there, oh no. Not even when things are at their slowest. ... Is this funny to you, Windy? Is anything funny to you? Is everything? You never laugh, but you're always playing games. (She takes some dried petals out of her [Petal Belt]) I'll give you something to laugh about. (She blows them gently) (They float slowly upward) Mmhmm. These aught to tickle. (They float all the way up to the Mountain Top Field) Won't you, bees? (She smiles at your bees) Heheh. Go on now, get up there. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...only...one... ...no...use... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) "Common"? Basic? What? Why? Oh! There you are, dear. And here we are, dear! Mmhmm. Here before we knew it. Here after I blew it! Those petals, I mean. I blew them onto the Mountain Top Field to summon 3 Windy Bees. Did you know I could do that? Heheh. Probably. I mean my name is Spirit Bear, and I talk about Windy Bee frequently. And here we are! We're here now! Where the breeze took us, like always. Like last time... To a [Spirit Petal]! Your second [Spirit Petal]! (She digs around for the [Spirit Petal] in her [Petal Belt]) La la la, pet-ta-ta, la la la la la. (She whispers to the [Spirit Petal]) Are you ready to go? ... No? Well, we can't make you go. No bosses here. I guess you'll just have to go back in the bag... ... What's that? Oh, you - you want to go? Oh! Oh good. I was running out of room in there anyways. (She stops talking to the [Spirit Petal]) Well then, you know how this works. Make your choice. Either one. And come on back. (Yawn) Mmhmm. come on back, in time. Maybe, maybe give Spirit Bear a little break. But after that, you come on back.
Rhubarb That Could Have Been |
Oh, you. You startled me. ... Say, have I ever told you about the Pineapple Patch? About why we've got [Pineapples] over there, instead of something else. Yes, well, it wasn't my idea to plant [Pineapples] over there. Surprising, I know - I wasn't the gardener mastermind for once, well It was actually Stick Bug. Yes, yes. You know Stick Bug. Over there, on that mushroom, dancing. He likes the tang. His nymphs, they eat the leaves. That's right little bees, those [Pineapples] aren't for you! Leave those for Stick Bug and his nymphs, you hear me? (She gives a firm look at your bees) You can eat the [Blueberries], ask your keeper to feed you some of those. But Stick Bug needs those [Pineapples]! ... No, no. Hah. There's plenty to go around. Hmm... so many [Pineapples]... (Cough) When Stick Bug first suggested them I was not sure how to react. I was quite stubborn back then, you see, and when it came to the plants Well, I wanted to call the shots. Everyyybody thought it was a great idea. My sister begged for [Pineapples]. I had my mind set on rhubarb, you see. Rhubarb. You don't know rhubarb? It looks a bit like, hmm. It looks a bit like purple celery. For pies, yes. I wanted to bake some rhubarb pies. That field would have been perfect for them, still would. My sister hates rhubarb, and Stick Bug won't eat something that's so, Well it looks a stick, basically. It would be weird. So I gave in. I let Stick Bug call the shots. And guess what? I'm happy I did. I like [Pineapples]. Everything turned out OK. Hmm... really though, I still feel like we have a severe lack of rhubarb. Rhubarb deserve a place on this mountain. When I really get to thinking about it, probably more than [Pineapples]. Hm.. But what's done is done. Or is it? ... -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...rhubarb... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Update now or I'm taking the bees with me! Oh! There you are, dear. Ahh... Sometimes, not usually, but sometimes A nap just clears your mind and soothes all your aches. Mmmhmm... I just had a good nap. Most of the time though, let me tell you. You wake up feeling worse than when you fell asleep. At my age, at least. Yes, Spirit Bear, blame your age. Not the fact that you sleep standing up. I can't help it! The sun, it just knocks me out. So fast I don't even have time to lay down. ... Now! Look at this lovely. lovely day. Yes, after a good nap, the beauty in everything seems to hop out at you. Bop! A Sprout springs out from the earth and says, "Good morning! How do I look?" Oh, and it looks marvelous! I tell it, but it already knows. Ahh, if only this feeling could fast. (Sigh) ... Did you need something, dear? Oh, but before you say a single word, let me tell you. You are looking beautiful today! And your bees too! You've all grown so much since I first saw you. Grown into a fine beekeeping team! Oh, pride of the mountain. It's keepers and bees like you, that give us our reputation. Well, some of our reputation. It's not all good you know. But our beekeepers are generally known to be fine, upstanding people. At least that's what I've been told to my face. I suppose nobody would talk bad about the mountain to me. My reputation precedes me, you know. Well, you don't know. But other people in important places, they know. They know about what I can do, and what I've done. They wouldn't talk bad about my hometown in front of me, oh no. (Yawn) Ach. And there it goes. Too good to last, a good nap. Complete 9 more quests and you'll earn the final [Spirit Petal].
Dreams Of Being A Bee |
Look, look behind you. Look at Gifted Riley Bee. I think it's talking to itself, no, singing to itself. It doesn't know we're watching, heheh. What do you think it's singing? Well yes I know it's buzzing. But the tune. It looks really into it! Look at it go! Those Red Bees, they really are a feisty bunch. Always have been. You know, despite my love of white flowers, And my affinity for a certain colorless bee... If I were a bee, I think I'd rather enjoy being a red one. Mmhm. I think I'd fit right in. ... To be a bee. Wouldn't that be nice? Tell me, is it as fun as it looks? (She looks over at your bees) It's what? ... Oh, and you enjoy that? ... Makes sense to me. (Yawn) You know, that's one of my recurring dreams. Haven't had it in a while, but sure enough, every now and then I'll dream I'm a bee - or have bee like properties. Sometimes I'm just flying. The sensation of that itself, That's what stands out most about those dreams. I wake up and I'll almost feel like I can still fly. Disappointing... (Cough) Other times, other dreams, I'm just working. Collecting, converting, doing bee jobs but it doesn't feel any special. It feels so familiar, just another every day grind. Before I found my success, I worked a variety of rather menial jobs. Shopkeeper, for a bit. Then gardener, more of a lawnkeeper [sic], for many years. Beekeeper, of course, but not like you. Not so... let's say, romantic. in each of those jobs I knew it wasn't for me. My mother always encouraged me to follow my heart, my ambitions, but As a very young bear, not quite a cub but close, I started working. I chose to myself. I could see how hard it was on her, my mother, to support us girls on her own. My sister, she's a few years younger, so I almost feel like I was a second mother to her. I'd hate to see her go without the finer things. Things most other cubs took for granted. My mom, oh she hated to see me working those tedious jobs. But I insisted. And even though she never said it, I could see the deep appreciation in her eyes. She would never admit that she needed our help, oh no. Her entire life she was that way. ... She was right, though, always right. What set me apart were my intuitions. I thrived out there, out in the wild. Amoungst [sic] the trees, high in the mountains... Deep in the forests, and what not... My passion towards nature, and desire for adventure, Were what ultimately blessed me with the means to be free. All I had to do was capitalize on them! Hah. Sounds quite greedy when I put it that way. I wouldn't go as far as to say that. ... When you can see what others don't, It's almost your duty to see it for them. Yes, at times, I charged a fee. I charged what I needed! And it's not my fault I planned ahead for storms and droughts I saw approaching. Not my fault the things I bought went up in value! And believe me, I tried to warn them. Every time! Each time I'd tell them. And each time, I'd prepare myself again while some others, I won't say who... Some others would willfully ignore me, call me a fool. Refuse to hear what I hear, because it's just not what they wanted to hear! Hmm... Why am I on about this? What were we talking about, dear? Oh yes! Yes. Dreaming. I often have those dreams. So in a way, I feel like I've already been a bee. (She gazes at your bees) Oh, but certainly it's just not the same... Could never come close to reality, a dream. -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...no...boss... ...teamwork... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) You can see that I'm already doing it! Why tell me do it agai- Oh! There you are, dear. Yes... there you are... Mmhmm... ... (She's starts playing Memory Match on her menu device) Sorry, sorry. I've got to use it, it's off cooldown. ... Hmm... ... (She looks very confused) I could have sworn that was... Oh... Oh goodness... (She presses a card) W-wha? ... (Time passes and you figure you should leave) Don't go! I'm almost done here. Almost... ... I love Memory Match, I don't know why. Oh! Oh I matched one. I've still got it! Or do I? Let's find out! (She starts another game) ... .... What? Oh! Hello dear. Give me a second. Oh, you're going? Already? Well, OK. (She presses a card) NO! No, I didn't mean to press that one! This cursed device... ... (She continues to play Memory Match) (You remember that there are 8 more quests until you earn the final [Spirit Petal])
The Sky Over The Stump |
... (She appears to be sleeping) ... (You think it's best to let her sleep) (You begin to walk away) Hold on! (She's talking with her eyes closed) I'm up. I'm up. Im just thinking. Mm... ... Have I told you about how Windy Bee and I met? How we met in the sky? Sounds crazy, yes. Not even close to the craziest place I've been, oh no. But I admit, it can get a little hectic up there. Up in the clouds. ... Alone. Yes... so high up, all by myself. Terrified, quite frankly. This was my first time so up high. And I'm a brave bear, always have been. Mother always called me the brave one, her little hero. And she was right. But goodness, you don't know dread, I didn't know it - Not until I stood on the edge ten thousand feet in the air! But I had to adapt fast. I went to the sky for a reason. What reason? Well, we know now, don't we? I got it in my head one night, in a dream. "Climb, climb. Leave it all behind and climb." And I did. I was like that when I was young. Impulsive, reckless. You could even say crazy. But I knew, I felt, I had a reason - I wasn't mad. Everything I did, the ridiculous things I did, I felt the hand of nature leading me there. I knew the shine was there for a reason. Nobody knew it, but I knew. ... ...(She drifts off for a bit with her eyes closed)... ... Windy Bee didn't make things easy. Did you? Nearly blew me over once or twice! That's not even the worst of it, but I'll leave that in the past. I didn't see Windy, not for months. I felt it, I knew - the winds, they weren't just winds. Not what I thought winds were back then. The rhythm of their changes spoke to me. I could feel a desire to be understood, every time my fur would part And with each gust, even those that nearly killed me, I sensed a desperation Not my own. I knew it was the bee. ... The first time I saw it - oh, I broke down and cried. Right there I fell to my knees and sobbed, more than I ever had before. I wasn't sad, oh no no. I felt relieved, so, so relieved. Relieved and validated, in that I wasn't alone all that time! But most importantly, I felt safe. For the first time since I had been up there. I knew this bee wouldn't let me fall. (She looks very serious) Mhh... It wasn't that easy, though. That first sighting was just a glimpse. But that was all I needed. And from that point on, I fought for Windy Bee. In the sky, yes. But all around. Challenges, posed by the bee, and by the winds. Chasing challenges - to earn the bee's trust. And there was no finish line, oh no dear. I just kept going - I'm still going. But somewhere along the way, the bee and I became true friends. And ever since, it's been around. Haven't you, Windy Bee? (She looks at the shrine) To think, at one point the others wanted to tear it down. Can you imagine? And for what? An Instant Converter. Another one. Like we need more. They were all the rage back then, when they were new. "Instant Converters will save the world!" Pfft! Whose done the most saving? Well, honestly - probably the Instant Converters. Yes, yes they did get us through some rough times. But Windy Bee and I have done our fair share, I like to think. Watering plants and helping the environment and what not. ... I don't have to justify myself. I know what I've done and I'm retired now. Anyways, what did I climb to get to the sky, you ask? The tree that was over there. Its stump is still over there. The whole reason I brought this up It's because this quest will take place in the Stump Field, at least part of it. (Yawn) OK now... now I'll really sleep... -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...low...brow... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Connoisseur? Of what? Kindergarten level bee puns? Oh! There you are, dear. Hmm... Enjoy your time out on the stump? Ol' Stumpy give you any troubles? Hah. As if it could. That silly oblong oaf. A gently [sic] creature, it means no harm. It just seems to meander into the wrong places at the wrong time. Needs a little nudge now and then to get it back to its cave. You know, when I was a cub, many creatures grew to the size of the Stump Snail. Yes, the Coconut Crab and Stump Snail would look right at home, back then. Over time, we've all seemed to shrink a bit. Mmhmm... not as many giants as there used to be. (Cough) Not here, at least. ...(She zones out for moment)... I read, one time, or - no wait. I saw it on the news. Yes. A report about the struggles that come with being so big, so tall. It said larger beards tend to develop arthritis earlier in life. More pressure on the joints, mmh. It adds up over time. Oh! And cancer! Each bit of you is another opportunity for it. Now, that's not to say it's unhealthy to be taller. There are benefits as well. And you know, scientists and doctors are always changing their minds. Look at us bears - we're very big. Compared to you, oh yes. Look at me! Huge, yet ancient! I do try to take of myself, though. I watch my diet, I exercise, you've seen me do my stretches. And I meditate. It looks like I'm always sleeping, but maybe I'm meditating. I lived my life so fast, I used to never rest. Now - now I take it so. Do my resting, and my thinking. More than I probably need. But I believe that's one of the keys to my longevity as well. ... Did you, need something dear? Ah, of course. Why do I even ask. It's obvious what you're here for. Always the same thing. Here you go - these are yours. Now 7 more quest [sic] until the final [Spirit Petal].
Space Oblivion |
The sky, well that's one place I've been. But I've told you, haven't I, that I've been to space as well. Imagine - Windy Bee and I, up there. (She looks up at the sky) Farther than there. Outer space. Deep, deep into space. It was only by going so far that I truly came to understand How precious, so precious, our world really is. How delicately it balances... teeters, On the edge of willful serenity and hopeless oblivion. 👏 (She claps her hands abruptly) LOST FOREVER WITH ONE WRONG STEP ALL WE KNOW, ALL WE ARE, FORGOTTEN! Not just what we love, but what love itself needs. Lost, lost. Lost to infinite entropy. Hmm... I lost some of myself up there. More than I can remember, but I still feel the loss. And through that loss I came to know just how much I had. And how much I have left to lose. ... Where'd I go? And what'd I do, in space? Oh, well we'd [sic] be here all day if I listed it all. Planets, yes. I walked on other planets. Scaled their tallest peaks! I surfed on the trails of shooting stars, yes. I witnessed life so unlike our own, so unlike. Sat on the backs of enormous space bees... bees the size of moons! I saw, with my own eyes, the vibration of their buzzing Travel somehow through the vacuum of space And obliterate entire solar systems! I fought for nature wherever it had a glimmer of hope - Tended to the bushes of Europa and fragile flowers of Ganymede. Then I tamed all 5 great spiders of Saturn! Hooked the colossal Andromeda beetle by it's [sic] horn! The first and only to do so! Yoo-hoo, dear? Are you even listening to me? Are you not going to say something about how ridiculous I sound? Could it be that you actually believe me? Well, if you do, then I suppose it's smart not to interupt [sic]. What couldn't I do, hah. Yes, wouldn't test me. Ah. But for everything I saw, and everything I did, I always had a desire to return. Right back to this mountain, where I was born. But you can't come back from that and expect it all to be the same. My first homecoming, back from space... Now, that was the most distant I ever felt, from anything. To look around and realize that even though you're home, nothing will ever be the same. (Yawn) No, how could it be. When you've seen the comet thats [sic] going to obliterate us at any moment. That's right, our doom is on its way. Someday, I guess, who knows. Heheh. Don't take me seriously dear. Hmm... Go on then, questing questing! That doesn't stop for anything! Off off... ... Off to space... (She's fallen asleep) -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...coconut...camp... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Get control your cubs or I'll start cracking [Coconuts]! [sic entire sentence] Oh! There you are, dear. Ahhh... ... Do you hear something? (She looks over at the Wind Shrine) What is that noise? Is it you? Are you sick? Ah that noise is awful. You never make that noise. ... (She reaches into her [Petal Belt] and grabs a handful of petals) Strange noises like that, they don't just come out of nowhere. ... (She squints at the Wind Shrine) What? What do you mean you've always made that noise? I may be losing my memory but I wouldn't forget that. ... Well stop it. It's annoying, goodness. Just stick to your chiming and swooshing and what not. ... You LIKE that noise? HOW? Are you toying with me, Windy? What's gotten into you! I can't sleep with that ruckus! Sometimes I wish I'd never brought you here you breezy little brat! ... Yes I brought you here! ... I don't know! How would I know? ... (She notices you again) You don't hear it? Are you sure? Oh it's just grating! Windy Bee, why?! Cut it out! It's like nails on a chalkboard! You are just too much sometimes... too too much... (Sigh) Will you go shut that bee up for me dear? Here. Just follow these. (She blows petal away) (They drift towards the Pineapple Patch) If you won't shut up, we'll make you shut up! Ahhh! Hurry - hurry so we can rest up for your next quest. Just 6 more to go. (She covers her ears with her paws) SO UNBEARABLE!
Pollenpalooza | This place, our home. You find it charming, right? Right? At least a bit? I do, I do. But still... Do you think it looks a bit... juvenile? Maybe that's not the word. Sloppy, there we go. Yes - the mountain is marvelous. I've said it many times. But I can't help but feel everything here is just a bit... Misaligned. That sums it up. And others, not from around here, they've noticed it too. You know whose to blame, right? Mr. Lid-loosener himself, up there. Couldn't he have put just a bit more effort into keeping things straight? How much could it have possibly taken? How much more work could it have been? And those flowers. Did he draw them with his feet? Ah, but you know. That's how he's always been. How do I put it... He's not the most... meticulous builder. Meticulous anything, for that matter. His talents are, well. they're adequate. And he's always stressing out, that much is true So maybe it is actually the best he can do. Maybe. Now that's depressing. Heheh. (Cough) You're here though, right? And you're not the only one. Doesn't seem to be keeping people away. Maybe it's just because you guys have no standards. Maybe the tasteless masses just don't know any better. A fat moose in a Skinner Box - maybe that's you! Who knows. Perhaps you can't even see the mess around here. And it doesn't bother you in the slightest. But others see it. I see it - I don't "hate" it but I see it. And it's [sic] contributed to our ... reputation, that's one way to say it. Mmmh... And that title... "Bee Swarm Simulator" ... Why not "Bee And Bear Mountain Adventure"? Still too long? Well, how about "Honey Harvest"? No? You don't like it? "Bee-topia"? "Pollenpalooza"? (Sigh) Well, what's it matter. Nobody's perfect, dear. And some of us, more imperfect than others. Us here, and your bees there... everything around here. Admittedly less perfect than the games we tend to rub shoulders with. Yes. I've been around - and let me tell you I've seen spotless, beautifully crafted world - Showcases overflowing with the attention and care of their artisan builders! Places awe-inspiring in their technical marvels, testaments to the ingenuity of humanity! Some games so clever in their rules, their [sic] deceptively simple and elegant mechanics. That they become timeless - you could play them forever and never grow bored. Others, through their rich, intricately-woven storytelling, sweep you right off your feet! Take you to far away lands from which you never, ever want to leave! Yes... I've seen them, and I've seen us. (She looks around) ... (She stares at Polar Bear) ... (Polar Bear looks over) (He points to himself) ... Yes... I've seen what we're made of. Schticks like that, and like this. Oh bother. And I've come to terms with the fact that when it comes to certain standards It doesnt't [sic] have to be shameful, necessarily, to not be up to snuff. At least that's what I tell myself. SOMEONE has to be proud of our home, surely? The other bears, well, it wouldn't ever cross their minds. And you beekeepers, you're just here to have fun. So I'll do it. I'll pretend we're perfect in our way, for the rest of you. Seriously, though. Would it kill him to at least snap to the grid?
-During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...no...choice... ...must...move... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Ants don't get a pass! We ALL have to dance on Dancing Tuesda- Oh! There you are, dear. That was a hard one, hmm. You look worn out. White pollen - ach, you must hate it by now. Mmhm... I always used to hate those tasks the most. Why white pollen? Why the hardest one? So slow! Terribly slow! Oh, I fell asleep countless times In those white flower fields. Bit up by aphids. Back then I was spry, full of life and energy! But no amount of energy can compete with the dull, unending plight Of collecting pollen from white flowers. Yes... that's how I saw it. Until, it all made sense. In what way? I don't know, dear, it's a feeling. You can't capture all sensations in words. ... Fine. I saw the reason in it. We put this challenges [sic] on ourselves not just for us, But for the world we live in. Those white fields, they wouldn't have a purpose at all if we didn't use them. Tell me - how close should we shave quests down to their most efficient cores? How precisely should we align them with what you would do already if they didn't exist? Why should you collect from this field, when that one over there would be twice as fast? Why are there so many field [sic], how are they even different from eachother [sic]? I'm asking you. I already know what I think about it. ... There's lots of valid reasons you could list, but there's one reason in particular That applies to our specific gripe. Without any resistance, you'd fly past it all - it would all be a blip, An indecipherable [sic] scribble in the book of your life. You fall right through, without friction. You wouldn't even feel it. And more importantly than that, the fields wouldn't feel you Quite literally, yes. I didn't plant these things the beetles. You'll use them, or someone else will. Someone better! They were a lot of work. (Yawn) Mhmm... More painful to plant than they were to collect from. ... Only 5 to go. Can you believe it? Maybe these weren't hard enough.
Dancing With Stick Bug |
This spot, I quite like it. You can see everything from here, without being too exposed yourself. People seem to forget about this corner of the mountain. They forget that I'm here, watching them. Heheh. Look, look at Stick Bug. ... Look at him dance! ... I think he knows we're watching. He just doesn't care. He'd dance even if the entire world were watching. No pressure ever, no sweat. He doesn't care what anyone thinks! And at his age, I wouldn't blame him. ... You, you know you really do look familiar. It's not just something I'm saying... I'm not just making it up.. There's something about you... ... Have you done any modeling? Been on television? Hmm? Well, I don't know, you could have. Why not? Anyways, look at him go. (She smiles and watches Stick Bug) Where did he get those moves? I, I'm a bit of a dancer myself but Stick Bug - now he's the real deal on the dance floor. We've always had that in common. Stick Bug and I. Our love of dancing. Quite similar styles too But who’s to say who rubbed off on who... well. ... As a cub, I couldn't stand the sight of Stick Bug! Scared me to death! So tall and lanky, unlike any other creature here. I didn't know what to make of it. And his challenge, well, as adults we understand it's all a game. But back then, it was pure terror, chaos in my mind. An invasion! Yes, one look at him as a cub and I'd cry. Unless... Unless he was dancing. I loved to see him dance! It was like he was a whole other person. And I wouldn't cry - I'd laugh. Now, Stick Bug always danced. And always will. But I do like to think that he started dancing a little more back then, just for me. ... ...(She tries to copy Stick Bug's dances)... That's right, I know how to do it too. I've put my own spin on it, really made it my own thing. Stick Bug, he's even complimented my dancing innovations. (She sways her arms in a wave like motion) He promised me he'll keep my moves alive long after I'm gone. Hmm... Looks like Stick Bugs headed off somewhere. I really ought to be going as well. (Yawn) To sleep, that is... Here, how about a game of Memory Match before you head off on your quest? Oh! Look! Better make it fast! -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...occupational...safety... ...admin... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) Why is the tunnel even down here? This is a safety hazar- Oh! There you are, dear. Ach... I'm sore... Why? Oh, oh yes. The dancing. I get a little too into it. Forget my age, hah. I have to limit my dancing, you see. No more than 10 minutes of dancing a day. But I love it so much, I even do it in my sleep... What am I even supposed to do about that? Hmm... (She gazes into the fields) Flowers dance their entire lives, too. Yes, they're being blown around. But, they want to be. It was their choice. That's how they choose to dance. They can't be moved, not by force. Not without destroying them! Like so many things in nature, they can only be swayed with a song. Flowers dance until their petals fall right off. Trees do it too, with their leaves. It's not gruesome, it's what they feel like doing. Don't judge! (She stretches her arms) But I'm not quite ready to let these go. Don’t imagine they'd grow back, hah. ... (Sigh) Take it easy, Spirit Bear. ... Is there something I can help you with, dear? Oh, oh. Of course, your quest. I know which one it was, that pretty hard one. Yes... With the... Strawberry Field? No? No no of course not... Don't tell me. I know. I know, yes. I'm - I'm on top of things. ... But just to see if you know... Which quest was it dear? OH! Oh yes. Yes... (She looks up something in her Quest Menu) Yes this one. I knew, just checking. Well then, here you are. Theres [sic] just 4 more after this! (She stretches her arms and yawns) Now... let me just try... To sleep... these aches... off...
Bear Without Despair |
(Her eyes are closed) (She looks a little troubled) Hmmm... agch... Do you ever feel like absolutely nothing is right? Like everything will fall apart at any moment... Even when everything is fine, surely. Going smoothly, by all accounts. ... I never used to feel that way. Ever. Any time despair approached, I'd just channel it, somehow... Into a goal - into focus. Yes I knew fear. I knew dread. But I never knew despair. Never felt it because I always sensed it coming ahead of time. I ran before it even had a chance to catch me. In peaceful times, and troubled times, all the same... I always felt determined and, to put it bluntly, I felt brave. I felt like I had the will to tackle any challenge, no matter how big. The will to preserve beauty I see in life at all times - subdue any source of misery. And I always felt like nature was the well from which I drew my strength. And of course, it is. It's one of them. Whenever things would seem wrong, begin to turn lost, I'd turn to it - nature. And it would help illuminate the good and right in everything again. Over time, this process, I learned to harness it quite literally. (She holds up her [Petal Wand]) And I grew to believe that through my bond with nature, I would always be fearless. Fearless and happy. That's the goal. (Cough) I didn't know anxiety. I only knew a challenge. Nope, no such thing as anxiety or despare [sic]. Until the day my sister passed away. ... This may sound a bit cold, but I was surprised how much it affected me. I was already an older bear, mind you. Well yes, we were very close, But I had always thought of myself as an independent bear. If anything, my sister was the one who always needed me. It shook me to my core - To realize that just as much as she needed me, I needed her. ... For years after, every once in a while, I would begin to feel it. It would come in bouts, that senseless despare. [sic] Always feeling like something was wrong. Not just wrong; impending doom. It was like my harmony was gone. My magic, too. My [Spirit Petals] - worthless. My faith in nature, it just wasn't enough. (She looks up at the Wind Shrine) It took a lot to reel me in from the terrible, terrible places those bouts took me. ... I'm much better now, but sometimes, rarely. I start to feel it again. ...(She closes her eyes and smiles)... You know, when my mother passed, I expected something like that to happen. As independent as I was, I knew how much I needed her. But somehow, I felt like she was still with me. It wasn't until my sister, that I first felt like both of them were gone. ...(She takes some petals out of her [Petal Belt])... Of course, I know it's not true. And that I'm never alone... And that everything will be fine, always, in time. ...(She tosses them off the cliff)... We'll be back here before you know it. You can try to escape, but there's just no getting lost. (She closes her eyes, look [sic] a little concerned) (She smiles and falls asleep) -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) For the last time I will NOT eat it! Why would I eat your [Star Egg]?! Oh! There you are, dear. Oh, look how lovely it is today. (She takes a deep breath and exhales) ... Well. I guess it's nothing really to write home about. Hm... It's good to see you're keeping up with your Grandmaster Badges. The "badge" aspect - for your profile - well, I could take or leave it. But those bonuses. Very important, yes. So many of you, the newer ones, don't realize just how important they are. It's easy to get overwhelmed with numbers around here. They start to lose their meaning. But just trust me, dear. Those numbers mean a lot. Alone, each badge doesn't offer much, but they work together. Somehow, a single, insignificant boost here and there Ends up becoming billion, trillion [sic] of honey! Yes I said trillions! It's possible! Magical, yes. But not unobtainably [sic] so. These are practical goals with tangiable [sic] effects. Not even the sky's the limit when you put it all together. ... OK. Enough badge talk. I'm boring you. When am I not boring you, heheh. Oh, I know dear. You don't have to pretend. Spirit Bear, she's well aware of the fact that she never knows when to stop. ... See, see if I was a more sensible bear I'd just stop talking now. Give you your rewards, and just stop talking. ... .... Say have I ever told you that you look so similar to someone... Someone I can't place my paw on. ... Why am I asking you that, of course I have. And we've already established that we don't have a clue about who it could be. How many times are you going to ask this, Spirit Bear? You're losing your miiiind! (Sigh) Or am I... ... Ok, I need to stop - don't let me go on like this dear. When I start rambling it's like, like an avalanche of petals. Well, not petals. Why does everything have to be petals. An avalanche, of snow. My mind just keeps going and my words dislodge other thoughts. And those start falling and dislodging others too, like more snow in the avalanche. Ahh! And it just won't stop. It won't, not if you let me. ENOUGH! Enough, here you are, honey bun. Your rewards. Take them now and run, run before I start again, Explaining how you have only 3 quests left and what not. Just go, go. ... Have I - No. No, go.
Spirit Spree |
Well I'll be. Look! (She points to her Quest Menu) Look how far you've come. ... This, this is you right? (She points to a User ID in the corner of the Quest Menu) That's yours, yes? ... You don't know your User ID? Really? Back in my day, we always memorized them. We needed them for everything. (Cough) We didn't have Menus back then. Well, not a problem. We can look it up on your profile. Your Roblox profile, in the website address of your profile, at the end. (You look up your User ID) ... Oh. So it's not you. All the same. One moment, dear, let me just enter your user ID here... (She enters your user ID into her Quest Menu) It takes a while to load. Why are we even bothering use this... [sic] You could just tell me which quest you're on. I've given these same quests out to hundreds, thousands before you. Hmm... maybe I wouldn't remember all the details. But what's it matter? I'll just give you tasks that make sense. ...(She watches the Quest Menu as it slowly loads)... I could come up with something, it would only take me a minute. Oh, but I don't know. Could be unfair to the others. I do want to keep things consistent. ... Retired. Pfft. You call this retired, Spirit Bear? Yes, I know, I don't HAVE to give these quests out. Ah, but I still feel like I need to. If I didn't give out these [Spirit Petals], can you imagine? You guys wouldn't know what to do. (The Quest Menu is taking an abnormally long time to load) Which quest did you complete last, dear? Oh wow! Yes, you are quite far along. ... I could have sworn... (The Quest Menu loads) Ah hah! Wait... This is the same quest I had loaded... But your IDs, they're not the same. What are the odds of that? You two are perfectly in sync. What are the odds. Not that low, actually. I've got many of you questing at the same time. I've only got 30 quests, for now. ... No wait. No, that WAS your User ID, dear. It was yours all along. Whoops! Ah, this one. This one's a real doozy. Everything starts to just pile on in the end, here. It ought to take you quite a while... (Yawn) Works out good for me. (She falls asleep) -During- (Somehow she's standing in her sleep) ...paperback...novel... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) There's nothing "epic" about you. Do you even know what that word means? Oh! There you are, dear ... Just look at your face. Poor thing. Completely exhausted. Oh, and you guys too. (She gazes empathetically at your bees and shakes her head) It's a lot of work out there. Mmhmm. Yes, it’s a lot of work almost everywhere But it's still a lot of work here. it gets easier, though. At least, in a way. Not literally - not for quite a while. It’ll get much more challenging in the next few quests. And after that, each goal - even more challenging. If it ever stops getting harder, that's when you really ought to be concerned. (Cough) Perk up now, come on. Nows [sic] not the time to rest, not for you at least. You're almost there. You know where... The final [Spirit Petal] - it's just 2 quests away. Just 2. Hah. "Just" 2, you say. That's a pleasant way to frame it. Only the 2 of them to go. Only.
Echoing Call |
The Wind Shrine. After all this, you feel familiar with it? Probably never even came off as too obtuse... Pretty straight forward, isn't it now. Well, it wasn't always that way. (She looks up at the shrine) It wasn't always so evident what it was for. The mystery, the magic, surrounding that shrine... It was something other entirely when I was young. Making offering, it didn't make the chimes sway. Windy Bee, it never responded. Didn't leave a single hint. Isn't that right? ... By the time I was born, people had already forgotten. Forgotten what put it there. Forgotten what it meant. We continued to make offerings, with no goal in mind. It was just what we did. Our actions, merely meager reverberations of a long forgotten roar. RAAWHHR! (She holds up her paws like a lion) Heheh. ...(She closes her eyes)... Reverberations... echoes... Traces of something. Of what? Nobody knows. Nobody. ... But I know. (She looks up at the shrine again) Our world appears before us magically. Each thing in our world, conjured up by it's own spell. Some spells, more potent than others. Nature's spell, the most potent of them all. Spells - perhaps you could call them tricks. Illusions... apparitions That spring forth from a primodial [sic] clearing... From out of nothing, everything you are seeing. Facades and appearances: all that we know. (Cough) All of it, yes. Which magical spell do you think erected that shrine? It's own, of course. But what's that? Who? Some ancient civilization? Is it just an old esoteric art installation? ... Windy Bee... you know, don't you? Maybe you used to know. Maybe you've forgotten. Almost certainly nobody has a record of its origins. Nobody has a clue as to who put it there, how old it is. Nothing. At best, just some rough educated guesses. And yet there it is clear as day. (The chimes on the shrine begin to move) Yes, I know! It's yours now. But it's ours, too. Who do you think keeps it clean? Yes, it's ours, and we are its. And maybe we're its spell... maybe. To speak of it now. Perhaps that's more than an echo. Perhaps this conversation itself is what the shrine has always been. Perhaps we're talking much louder, in this moment. than we thought. Perhaps we're the ones calling out into the future from the past. ...(She looks out over the mountain)... I've never been that impressed with art, statues; The beauty of nature shines so brightly that anything artificial pales in comparison. But I’ve always been facinated [sic] by the shrine. Always had a hunch that whoever made it saw something in nature that even I couldn't see After all these years, I'm still trying to make it out. Still trying to open my eyes. But I like to think I get the gist of it. (Yawn) Yes, I know. I do. Nobody knows... but me.. (She appears to fall asleep) (You begin to walk away) Wait wait. I'm forgetting something. This quest coming up - it's exceedingly difficult, dear. Exceedingly. I'm just being straightforward with you now. To be frank, I think you'll need a little help. So I've put together a little package for you... It's not much. but maybe it'll push you through. Oh, and do use my Memory Match before you go. This quest is one of the ones that requires you to make matches. -During- (Somehow she’s standing in her sleep) … (She’s clenching her jaw and grinding her teeth) …ahh… (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) AHHH! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE NICE? STOP TELLIN ME WHAT TO DO! WE WERE SUPPOSED TO WORK AS A TEAM! YOU'RE NO BETTER THAN THE REST OF US JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE MADE OF HONEY! THERE ARE NO BOSSES HERE. NO BOS- Oh! There you are, dear. Ugh. Not a good nap. ... You're done! Of course you are! Nothing is too much for you. Nothing I'd ever dish out. You know I wouldn't set you up for failure. Right? (She looks at your bees) I'd never send you all off to do anything im- (Cough) Impossible. Excuse me, ... .... What? That's all. All I have to say to you lot. ... .... But I suppose since you're already here, I've been thinking about something and I’d been meaning to ask you. Well, meaning to ask someone. I just need a sounding board. You know the field up there? Up on the mountain top? Let me tell you, it was a pain to establish. Red and blue flowers don't take so kindly to those altitudes. And of course, it's almost entirely rock. Very little sediment for the flowers to even take root. But I had my mind set on having a field up there. Why? Well, mainly for the view. I figured if we're going to spend all day collecting pollen. We might as well do it somewhere with a view. If we can. Mmhm. It worked, partially. The flowers, well, by no means are they a failure. But I couldn't get anything else to grow up there. Nothing at all. It's one my [sic] biggest regrets. Well, maybe not biggest. But it does stick out like a sore thumb, still. To have a bare field up there. With no theme. Just looks naked. (Yawn) Well, I've been contemplating maybe giving it another shot. A long time has passed, we have more options now. There's got to be something that will grow. There always is. But what? And even if we find it, do we really need it? Why stir up old fields over something so unnecessary? How about so we [sic] stop looking so lazy around here, how about that. What's wrong with just trying to look presentable? Orderly? ... Oh, but it would be a lot of work. Not for me, dear, no. I'd hire someone else. I'm retired now. ... Well, that's not true. You know I'd be up there, helping my own way. Someone has to organize things - lay it all out. And just a little of my magic goes a long way in gardening. Speeds up the whole process. It wouldn't make any sense for me to watch someone else slave away up there. (Sigh) So I'd have to do it. That's my dilemma. Would it be worth it, do you think? Eh, what's it matter. I rarely go up there anymore anyhow. Hmm... Your last quest is coming up, hm? The last one before your final [Spirit Petal]. Now that's what we ought to focus on. On you and your bees, dear. A project definitely worth my efforts - as you've shown. ...(She smiles and stares at you for a while)... A real fine beekeeper, all in your own right. Definitely not who I was thinking of. No. Not that one... whoever they are.
Spring Out Of The Mountain |
Ah, let's stop. Look around again. Look at where we are. Look at you. Look at me. ...(She poses for you)... Look at all of them. (She gestures at your bees) Don't forget that one. (She nods towards the Wind Shrine) And that one. (She points up at the 30 bee gate) The gangs all here! Here on probably the most lovely day that's ever been. Well, maybe that’s an exaggeration. Maybe. What difference does it make? (Cough) ... I’ll tell you what. You know, not everyone around here is so cheery. Not everyone appreciates the beauty of our home. Not in the way we do. Some people, some things, well, they just hurt. They hurt and suffer and to them, everything is ugly. When you succumb to pain, it can be impossible to witness or even believe in beauty. In everything you see, you see your own hurt. And that lack of vision - it's not just an individual's plight. Like a cry, or a howling scream, it can't be ignored. It doesn't have to be loud - it still can't be ignored. ... We all hurt in our own ways. And of course in many of the same ways. That should be no surprise. Pain is the cause of life. Pain is its substance. But beauty, as I've said before, is the reason. In nature, in all its living things... ...(She grabs some dried petal out of her [Petal Belt])... Pain is just a means to an end. Unless... we let it be our end. The plants, they don't. These are evidence of that. (She holds up the petals) (She blows them away) And they aren't subtle, dear. Not at all. Look around us - it's all so vibrant. I've aspired to be as vibrant as they are. To spring out of this mountain myself, like another flower. But not just any flower. A flower who can talk! And boy can I. ... Welp. This is your final quest with me, for now. After this, your third [Spirit Petal]! The set will be complete! (She looks up at the wind shrine) Windy Bee, It knows this is the last one too. Don't you, Windy? I know you're listening. ... Oh, you're THAT excited? Surprising. I mean, don't we do this all the time? (Yawn) Well, you do it all the time. What do I do? Just sit and watch while you duke it out. (Yaaawn) Or... at least... ... ...try to watch... ... (She falls asleep) -During- (Somehow she’s standing in her sleep) ...out...space... ...right...time... ...place... (Why not let her rest while you complete her quest?) -Completion- (Yawn) I said take it outside! This pot is for honey - just hone- Oh! There you are, dear. Looks like it all went well out there. No surprise! You wouldn't have stopped on the final quest. Who would? Hmm... (She digs for the [Spirit Petal] in her bag) I've been giving these out for ages, but I still have so many! There will never be enough of you beekeepers - I'll always be looking for more. (She hands it to you) There you go! Goodbye, dear. ... What? Oh, I apologize. I do suppose if there were ever a time to give a speech Now would be the time, yes. Finally, an appropriate time for my ramblings. But when I'm on the spot, ugh. Oh i [sic] just can't do it. Well, I can. But I won't. It's not fun at that point. I don't ramble because I'm supposed to. I do what I like - you know that. (Yawn) ...(She looks over your bees)...You [sic] bees aren't the boss of me, heheh. Oh, what am I on about now. It's over! You're just happy to be done. Nobody expects anything of you, Spirit Bear. (She closes her eyes and smiles) Mmhmm... Just go to [sic] back to sleep you crazy old fool. Let the bees get back to work. (She falls asleep)
Exclusive Beesmas 2020 Dialogue | Mmmm...mhmm...(she's murmuring to herself with her eyes close [sic])... You are given a choice to give a present to Spirit Bear or continue talking like normal. You choose to give her a present. I've been counting [Snowflakes] all day as they fall onto the fields. (Yawns) Oh, it's quite hypnotic! I keep losing count because, well, it's like counting sheep. At one point, though, I counted. What was it... Over 50 [Snowflakes]? I lost count that time though because of a Snow Storm. I mean, I can't keep up with that. ... Snow everywhere, like frosting on our Beesmas cake! Decorated with all these delightful contraptions this year. Like that wreath. Hehehh, Black Bear, bless his heart. Look at that Honey Wreath. I won't say more... Oh, but Mother Bear's Gingerbread House! Oh, I like that one. ...(she's staring into the distance)... Is that a [Snowflake]? Or... Hmm. I'm tired of counting. I'm bored now. Why bother with something so mundane, during the most exciting time of the year! Bee Bear, oh that precious fool. Don't tell him I called him a fool. Not that he would mind. To think that we mere mortal bears could offend a honeyday deity. Anyways, that sweet, jovial bear, he brightens up the entire mountain during the darkest days of the year. How did we even make it through the winters before him? Well, I mean, I do remember... It wasn't so bad. We still celebrated, we just didn't focus so much on the bees. Not that you bees don't deserve it! Bee Bear is completely right about that. We celebrated the passing of the year in a more general sense. We still ate a lot of the same food, did similar customs, it just felt a little more... off the cusp. We still put ornaments on a tree, you see, we just didn't have a special name for it. Or did we? Hmmm... Was it... Oh, like I'll ever remember. Mother always had a tree, and we always dolled it up for winter. Left it up probably much longer than we should have, we were never... punctual. But it was always so, so full of ornaments! Everyone was jealous of our tree. Perhaps the only time our hoarding tendencies were a source of envy. Hah! And things really took off as Beesmas became more and more of a thing. Mother couldn't help herself, any time she saw an ornament on sale. Mmhmm. And some of those - completely unnecessary, Mother. The only thing more imposing than our tree was the size of our debt. How did we even get approved for so many credit cards? Yaach... But it was worth it. You can't put a price on Beesmas Magic. Well, you can, sort of. Just take a look at Bee Bear's Catalog. But you understand what I mean. Those debts are long gone, and here I am countless years later still reminicing [sic] about our trees. Mother's taste for ornaments - they were well considered. ...(she's staring off into the distance)... ...31... Or was it? Drats. I've lost count again. I can't help myself! I see the [Snowflakes] and I just start... But it's too hard! And it's boring. Let's do something else. What have you come to see me about, anyhow, dear? What's that you're holding - it's for me? Oh! A gift! Will you open it for Spirit Bear? My hands are full, you know. And sore. ...(You open the present for Spirit Bear)... ...(krumple krumple)... Oh no! Oh no no no! This - this is just too much! It's a Baby [you know who] Ornament! From the outer space show! Everyone's favorite little green alien, the tiny space wizard, in a replica of his floating crib. It's so cute I could cry! Thank you, dear, thank you! This is going on the top of my tree next year, the very top is where little [alien wizard] belongs. ... ...(she's staring off into the distance)... Mmhmm, the very top. ... OK, goodbye now. ... Oh! YOUR gift! Yes yes I have one for you! A few things, actually. Including my [Memory Match Ornament]! With that on the tree, well, I don't quite recall what it does. You can check the tree yourself. (Yawn) First, why not go check out that strange [Snowflake] in the Dandelion Field. Merry Beesmas, dear!
Exclusive Beesmas 2024 Dialogue | Mmmm...mhmm...(she's murmuring to herself with her eyes close [sic])... You are given a choice to give a present to Spirit Bear or continue talking like normal. You choose to give her a present. ... Huh? I'm up, I'm up. Hello. Good to you see you. [sic] Hmm... what? Wait. What's in your hands? Oh! What? Wait a second... (She looks around) Why have you got that? Why does everything look like this? What's going on? What day IS it, dear??? ... That doesn't add up. But I've honestly no sense of time any more. [sic] You could tell me it was October and I'd believe you. Although, I had a suspicion I had forgotten something this year... Hmm. Oh! Wait. (She reaches into her [Petal Bag]) Heheh, I hadn't forgotten at all! I've had a [Present] waiting for you in all along... How long has it been in there? So long I don't even remember what it is! But it has your name on it, so surely it's meant for you. The one you brought me looks nicer, though. So I suppose I should go ahead and open it. Unless... ... Would it not be wrong? To open this now... willy nilly... whenever... I thought the point of Beesmas gifts was that they were an annual tradition? The rhythms of the seasons, accentuated by the Honeydays, or other customs... Produces a familiar sway that acts as a point of reference, no? For our progress... For our growth... Mmmh. They give the structure to our lives upon which change can grow! Our daily, our monthly, our yearly routines establish themselves like vines on that lattice. So would we dare shake it up!? (Cough) Dare to exchange these NOW? And risk losing that rhythm? Might knock our petals off! Before you know it, you'll be just like me. Lost in a timeless, sleepy fog. No clue what month it is. ... Hmm, but you do have a point, dear. The rhythm's already lost! Perhaps we've already moved on to this, mmm, post-annular era. Perhaps the years themselves are getting longer... Or maybe tradition was alawys a silly concept. A cage more than a stage. I mean, I've always been an innovator. A trailblaizer. [sic] Always tried to switch things up - to never settle into a groove. So why shouldn't Beesmas be now? We could open these [Presents] up, and begin to make it so. So. Let's see what you brought Spirit Bear! ...(krumple krumple)... Oh! A Flying Windy Bee Sticker! I don't remember seeing this sticker in the, what do you call it That menu that lists all the Stickers, you know, dear. The compendium? No. That's not right. ... The Index! Yes, of course. The Sticker Index. Well, last I checked this Sticker wasn't in it. That makes it extra special! Thank you so much, dear! I'll stick this somewhere nice. (She sticks it on her [Petal Wand]) Ok. Now, you open yours! Go on! ...(krumple krumple)... That's the [Memory Match Ornament]! My Memory Match Ornament. The one I won myself way back in... well, it was a long time ago. Oh, it says right there: way back in 1983! Probably before you were born, you do look so young. With that on the tree, you'll receive these boosts: +25% Convert Rate +25% Capacity in the Stump Field And +5% from Bee Abilities! Don't think they give these out anymore. The Memory Match Committee isn't what it used to be. People don't need to practice to keep their memory sharp when they've got smartphones. Every answer in their [sic] As if Memory Match actually helps with memory at all. I mean, look at me. Memory Match Champ and I can't even keep track of the month. But you enjoy that, it'll look nice on the tree! Happy Honeydays, I suppose!
Conclusion | (Yawn) Oh! Hello dear. Did you - did you need something? That's it for now. All I've got for you... Why not... maybe check with me later... Mmhmm... much, much later... ...(She falls back asleep)... |

Spirit Bear's Ornament | Look at you... You must be freezing! I'm a bit chilled myself but goodness, How do you people survive without any fur? You should put on a coat. There's got to be an affordable coat in the ROBLOX catalog. Really, though. Coats should be free. Goodness. It's ostensibly a season of giving and charity and look at you - You beekeepers are running around in the snow with hardly anything on. Everyone should get a coat on Beesmas. A nice warm coat. At least your shoulders are warm under those "guards", hah. Hmm... What's that? [Ornament]? Oh, believe me dear - you don't want to get me started on [Ornaments]. I've got more [Ornaments] than I've got [Glitters]! That's right, I've been collecting them for ages. I'm keeping my mother's tradition alive. She was an [Ornament] hoarder, mmhmm. And I'm thankful for it because we always had the most beautiful tree! Even compared to my more well-to-do friends. Yes. You don't need much money, you've just got to keep an eye out. (Cough) Let me tell you, as you age, you'll appreciate [Ornaments] even more. Each one is a perfectly encapsulated memory. A physical memory that won't give out! Not like the ones in here (She taps your head with her [Petal Wand]) Those don't last. Half of them aren't even real! But an [Ornament] can't lie, it's just a piece of glass... or plastic. The nice ones though, the "breakables" as mother used to call them, Those ones are made of glass. And even those are more durable than the thoughts in your head. Mmhmm. And people say memories last forever... pfft. Not if you don't have something tangiable [sic] to keep them alive. Placing them back on the Beesmas tree each year, that's the best way to do it. ...(Yawn)... How's our tree doing this year? How many presents have you been able to open? Ah, I just love it all! What a brilliant idea, Beesmas! Oooh, and that Bee Bear! What a gift he is himself! The magic of Beesmas, now you're speaking my language! Heh, these festivities never grow old to me. Mmhmm, Merry Beesmas dear! Go on now and get yourself something warm to wear! ... Oh - right. My [Ornament]. Ah, but which one?? They're all so special to me... Which memory do I want to share this year, hmm? Hmmm... Well, why don't you go on and complete my quest for now. I'll pick out the perfect [Ornament] while I wait. Collect 100,000,000 White pollen... Collect 50,000,000 pollen from the Pine Tree Forest... Collect 2,500 Honey Tokens... Collect 100 Tokens from Festive Gifts... Match 15 pairs in Memory Match... Donate 500 [Sunflower Seeds] to the Wind Shrine... And collect 150 Tokens from Wild Windy Bee. Here, I'll give you a head start:
-During- N/A -Completion- (Yawn) You bug-eyed brats, take the coal and act happy about it- Oh! There you are dear. Ach! You must be freezing! How can you stand it out there in the snowy fields like that? Put on a coat, dear! Do you WANT to catch a cold? ...(Achoo!)... AH! And you're spreading it to me... At my age, goodness, this could be the end of me. I hope you're happy. (She stares sternly at your bees) And you let your keeper go out like that? Tssk. ... Oh, I'm just playing with you, dear. With all this sun it actually get's [sic] quite warm out here, when you're working up a sweat. Swinging that collector around and what not. Still, get yourself a coat. ... Oooo. You've finished my [Ornament] quest? Ah, but I still haven't decided which [Ornament] to put on the tree... I'm sorry, dear. To be honest, as soon as you left I immediately fell asleep. OK, well, it can't be that hard... ... ...(She closes her eyes)... ... ... ... Aaah. I know. (She reaches around in her [Petal Belt]) 🎵 Fa la la la la ~ Luh-la... La... Laaaaaaa~ 🎵 Here it is: My [Memory Match Ornament]. One of my rarest! It was only given to the top 100 Memory Match players of 1983! I just made the cut! I was 99th! Spent a pretty penny grinding those matches out. Yes, even back then I was wealthy but the top 100, It's more competitive than the Global Top Honeymaker board! It was definitely worth it, though. This [Ornament] - gorgeous. With this on the Beesmas Tree, you'll receive the following boosts: +10% Capacity; +25% Convert Rate while at the Hive; x1.25 Pollen from the Dandelion Field; And x1.25 Pollen from the Stump Field. Careful now, don't break it. Can't get another like it. Mmm. Well now, certainly my [Ornament] quest gave you leagues more trouble than the others, So far, at least. But it was worth it dear! Why? The gift boxes from this point on, that's why! What's inside them? Whose to say? ... ...(She leans in and whispers)... ...they're worth it... Go on now! Open those presents and have yourself a very, very merry Beesmas. |

Spirit Bear's Galentine Shrine | Hmm... Is it really still Beesmas? It seems to last longer each year. What? Don't get me wrong! I adore Beesmas, truly! Its the 🎵muh-most wonderful time... of the year 🎵, after all! But it's still just one of the times of the year, mhm. And that's what makes it special. The fact that it comes and goes. Honeydays of all sorts speckle our years with distinctive moments of delight. These traditions create a magical and familiar rhythm, which accents the natural song of the seasons. They bring us joy and give us respite. They anchor us to the past, while keeping us looking forward to the future. You can't fight the rhythm, dear! Don't swim against a current. Never spit into the wind. What I mean to say, well, Beesmas is just one act, and the show must go on! (She reaches into her belt bag) ... (She tosses heart shaped confetti into the air) 🎵Love is in the air!🎵 Hehehe! Do you feel it? (Cough) 🎵It's the tiiime of the seeeason for loviiing!🎵 Ok ok, enough singing. You're frightening the bees again, Spirit Bear. And don't worry, dear. I'm not asking you out on a date. But I do need your help. You see, one of my most cherished Honeydays is nearly here... Galentine's Day! A special day which commemorates love, and how it moves us all like a swift breeze! No, not Valentine's Day, dear. GALEntines. Gale is another word for wind. Each Galentine's Day, I decorate the Wind shrine with lovely hearts and bows. But old Spirit Bear is just not feeling up to it this year. Booo! Without the Galentine's Day decorations, theres nothing to balance out all this. (She waves her Petal Wand around) All this Beesmas. We need those hearts on the Shrine, dear. It's imperative. ... What's wrong? Your bees don't want Beesmas to end? Oh, I know, sweethearts, I know. We all wish the magic could last forever! But Galentine's Day is a whole other type of magic - and just as fun! The magic of loooove! Yes yes I know. Love isn't as much fun as toys and gifts. But Spirit Bear likes what she likes, and every year she likes seeing a dolled up Wind Shrine on Galentine's Day. Frankly, I don't care about the winds of love. Took down my sails ages ago (although I got good use out of them). But I do very much care about keeping things pretty around here. ... Tell you what, if you decorate the Wind Shrine, I'll give you something special. My Winter Memory Match membership info! Heheh. You can't play Winter Memory Match without a membership, and you can't get new ones! I'm grandfathered in. Winter Memory Match is a true delight. The prizes are outstanding, from my experience. If you want to play Winter Memory Match, all you need to do is liven up that Shrine. Hearts and bows, and a fresh coat of paint. It'll be just lovely! (Cough) Excuse me, dear. I'm not feeling so well. I'm not sick. When you get to my age some days are just coughing days. ... You wouldn't subject an old coughing bear the the fumes of Galentine's Day paint, though, would you? I didn't think so. Oooh, you're a real sweetheart. So go on now! Go make the Shrine pretty for Spirit Bear! And who know, maybe the Galentine's Shrine will help you find a little sweetheart of your own! Heheh. Oh, I'm just teasing you. No room for romance in the busy life of a honeymaker. Isn't that right? (Cough) Ach.
-During- N/A -Completion- (Yawn) Well noone told me about her- (Grunt) Oh it’s you! I’m feeling much better. The coughing. I mean. Just had to drink more water. The cool winter air is a just a bit too dry. Mmhmm. Ahhh, but Beesmas makes it all worth it. I do imagine that back in the day, we must have begun celebrating just for that reason. The winter is so miserable! Short, dark days. Dry air, chilling us to our bones. We needed those festivals to get us through! ... Yes, Beesmas is a true delight. I hope it never ends. ... What’s that? Galentine’s Day? No, dear. It’s Beesmas now. Galentine’s Day isn’t until February. What? Really? Oh! Where did the time go? Oh, but does Beesmas really have to end? Who says the festive magic can’t last all year long? Huh? I said that? Don’t put words in my mouth, dear. Although, now that I hear you say them, they do make some sense. Well then, if it’s nearly Galentine’s Day, we’ll need to decorate the Wind Shrine. Oh! You’ve done it already? Taking initiative yourself, how refreshing! Let’s take a look then. How lovely! Much nicer than when I do it myself. You perfectly captured the essence the lovestruck by Cupid’s gale. Are you really sure that you haven’t been bitten by a love bug yourself? Heheh. (Yawn) Well, thank you for dolling up the Shrine! I’ll be admiring it all Galentine’s Day. So long, dear! ... What’s that? You want to know what the decorations do? They inspire lovey dovey feelings when you look at them, that’s all. What did you expect? They’re just decorations. Although, there was an old wive’s tale about donating [Strawberries] to the Galentine’s Shrine. Apparently it can bring true love. Just a silly superstition, unless... ... Well goodbye now! ... Huh? My Winter Memory Match password? Like I would never tell you. Oh? Oh, did I tell you I would tell you my password if you decorated the Wind Shrine? That does sound a bit like something I would say... Eh... Why not. But keep it a secret! (She leans over and whispers the login credential on your ear) Wait... wait no. That’s my online banking info. Or was it? No, that wasn’t it. Hold on a moment, dear. (She searches through your Petal Belt) (She pulls out a folded piece of paper) This must be it. Hmm... yes, yes. This is my Winter Memory Match info. (She leans over and whispers the login credential on your ear) Got it? Good! You can find the Winter Memory Match near Honey Bee. Go collect [Snowflakes] to play and give it a try! |

Spirit Bear's Galentine Shrine | (Yawn) Mmm. One lick of Winter and I can already hear hibernation calling. I am in fact a bear, dear. An already quite tired one at that. I ought to be asleep in a cozy den, snug as a Bean Bug. Poor old Spirit Bear awake all winter, just so that I can help guide you beekeepers Fighting against my nature. A losing battle. I could give out any second! Pity pity pity me. Hah. (Yawn) ... No, no. I would never hibernate through Beesmas. Well, maybe through Beesmas. But never, never through Galentine's Day. Not Valentine's Day, dear. We don't do that here. This is a ROBLOX game. GALEntine's Day. Gale is another word for wind. There's another priceless piece of info from Spirit Bear. ...(Yawn)... Oooh, anyhow. If you expect me to stay up any longer I'll need your help to get me [sic] blood going. I need some Galentine's decorations to remind me why waking life is so worth it. Staring at the Wind Shrine all day is certainly nice, mhmmm. But not nicer than sleep. Won't you help me spruce it up for Galentine's Day? Make it look all, mmm, lovey dovey. Yes. A little bit of pink, a little red... Some hearts... Ooooh yes! That ought to do it! Nothing says "reverence for the wind" like slapping a coat of paint over a sacred site. Mmhmm. No, but honestly. It's all in good fun. Windy Bee knows. Don't you know. ... You better know. because it's Galentine's Day. Anyways, if you help me celebrate wind and love - not just romantic love, but you know. Loooooove! Love for the wind and love for the bees, love for the sake of love. If you help me celebrate it by decorating the Wind Shrine then, well... Then, I just might skip hibernation this year completely. Think of all the many more noths you'll have to spend with me All the ramblings and rantings... Hah. Ok I'll stop before I scare you away. Mmhmmm, ust like the countless others I've scare off in my day. (Yawn) Ok, well wake me up when it starts coming along... You'll need quite a bit of Ssatisfying Nectar to adhear everything together... You do know where to get some, yes? From Planters in the Dandelion Field, Bamboo Field, or Pine Tree Forest, yes? Did the Dapper Bear not tell you? Tsk tsk. Handsome little thing needs to do a little less primping and a lot more teaching. Reminds me of a young Spirit Bear, when I was my own priority. And you beekeepers were just background fluff. Hah! You're all still fluff, and I'm still dangerously dapper. Hehe. Well hurry along now. Doll up that shrine, feel free to get creative. (Yawn) Do hurry though, before I give into my natural winter tendencies...
-During- N/A -Completion- (Yawn) All aboard the gravy trai- Oh! Oh. I'm up. I'm up. Still winter, huh? ...(She closes her eyes again)... ... Hmmm, just savoring that cool soothing air... ... .... I'm up. Don't worry. ... (Yawn) (She jolts open her eyes and straightens up a bit) Ok! let [sic] see what you've done with the shrine. Looks like your bees are finishing it up just now... Ooo how lovely! Certainly worth getting up for. It perfectly embodies the winds of love, which blow us around, leave us without a paddle. The winds in our sail that casts us away towards exotic shores into embraces that are as warm as they are unfamiliar, might feel as right as they do wrong those gales of chance we call romance - responsible for all love (and hate) that've carved us out of formless wax, through an endless series of gentle breezes and violent gusts bent our desires like the branches of a young and unsturdy tree, to conform with a greater movement that of love, which is us, became us, brings us together - all without a care for our say! A river doesn't ask a bend if it wants to be a pond. The moon doesn't ask the sea if it's ready to rise or fall. Time doesn't stop when you break your clock and the winds don't ask the trees when they'd like to move their leaves! The Galentine's Shrine reminds us that we're all just a bunch of lost-in-love fools! Blown around by a greater force that both beyond us, and became us. True love! (Cough) Mmhm. That's nice. ...(She gazes at the Galentine's Shrine)... How can I every repay you and your bees? I know. I knooow. ...(She digs around in her Petal Belt)... ...(She pulls out a rolled up piece of paper)... ...(She leans over and whispers in your ear as she hands it over)... my winter memory match password. don't share it... with this, you can use the winter memory match. costs snowflakes. gives good stuff. shhhh, just take it. Ok! That's it! ... No, no it's not. I forgot to mention: I've heard - I can't confirm, but I've heard... If you donate enough [Strawberries] to the Galentine's Shrine, you might just fall in love! With who or what? Who knows! That's the beauty of it. If you're feeling adventurous, you could give it a try. I'm not saying you should, I'm no Aphrodite. But you can, if you like. It's Beesmas, you can do whatever you like during Beesmas. Thank you dear for all your hard work! I promise I won't hibernate this winter so that I can admire it. (Yawn) I won't hibernate, no. I'll just... I'll just nap here and there... ... Cause it's so, soo cold in the winter... |

It'll be just as lovely! (Cough) Excuse me, dear. I'm not feeling so well. I'm not stick. When you get to my age some days are just coughing days. ... You wouldn't subject and old coughing bear to the fumes of Galentine's Day paint, though, would you? I didn't think so. Oooh. you're [sic] a real sweetheart. So go on now! Go make the Shrine pretty for Spirit Bear! And who knows, maybe the Galentine's Shrine will help you find a little sweetheart of your own! Heheh. Oh, I'm just teasing you. No room for romance in the busy life of a honeymaker. Isn't that right? (Cough) Ach.
-During- (Yawn) Oh! Hello dear. Did you-did you need something? That's it for now. All I've got you...why not...check with me later. Mnhmm... ,much ,much later...(she falls back asleep)... -Completion- (Yawn) Well noone told me about her-(Grunt) Oh, it's you! I'm feeling much better. The coughing . I mean . Just had a drink more water. The cool winter air is a bit too dry. Mmhmm. Ahhh , but Beemas makes it all worth it . I do imagine that back in the day, we must have begun celebrating just for that reason . The winter is so miserable! Short, dark days. Dry air , chilling us to our bones. We needed those festivals to get us through! ... Yes, Beemas is a true delight. I hope it never ends. ... What's that? Galentine's Day? No, dear. It's Beemas now . Galentine's Day isn't until February. What? Really? April??? Oh! Where did the time go? Oh, but does Beemas really have to end? Who says the festive magic can't last all year long? Huh? I said that? Don't put words in my mouth ,dear. Although ,now that I hear you say them, they do make some sense. Well then, if it's nearly Galentine's Day , we'll need to decorate the Wind Shrine . Oh? You've done it already? Taking initiative yourself, how refreshing! Let's take a look then. How lovely! Much nicer than when I do it myself. You perfectly captured the essense of being lovestruck by Cupid's gale. Are you sure you haven't been bitten by a love bug yourself? Heheh. (Yawn) Well ,thank you for dolling up the Shrine! I'll be admiring it all Galentine's Day! ... What's that? You want to know what the decorations do? They inspire lovey dovey feelings when you look at them ,that's all . What did you expect? They're just decorations. Although ,there is an old wive's tale about donating [Strawberries] to the Galentine's Shrine . Apparently it can bring true love. Just a silly superstition, unless... ... Well, goodbye now! ... Huh? My Winter Memory Match password? Like I would ever tell you. Oh? Oh, did I tell you I would tell you my password if you decorated the Shrine? That does sound a bit like something I would say... Eh... Why not. Just keep it a secret! ( she lean over and whispers the login credential in your ear) Wait... wait no. That's my online banking info. Or was it? No ,that wasn't it. Hold on a moment, dear. (she searches through her Pedal Belt ) (She pulls out a folded piece of paper) This must be it. Hmm... yes yes. This is my Winter Memory Match info. ( she lean over and whispers the login credential in your ear) Got it? Good! You can find the Winter Memory Match near Honey Bee. Go collect [Snowflakes] to play and give it a try! |

Spirit Bear's Galentine Shrine | ... Is it snowing, or did someone get into my Glitter stash? Because it's definitely NOT winter, no no. Even I know that, and I've hardly a sense of time at all. Heheh. But I do have a lot of [Glitter]. Have always loved [Glitter], and anything else that makes things shine. I've always had a desire to shine myself. And, yes, I did used to doll myself up with that stuff. Buuuut, not for suitors. For the beauty of it alone! And I was often alone, and liked that. Never had too much time for others. (Cough) So it may surprise you to hear how much I love: Love. And I'm talking about the romantic stuff! The good stuff! The hot stuff! Not that stuff, silly, get your mind out of the gutter. But that sweet sensation of loooove. Young love, old love, all love. And the celebration of it! Maybe I like it so much because I never got enough of it. Heheh. That's a lie, I had my fill. But still. I never did lock it down. Tie the knot. You know, til death do they part type stuff. But, I do hope everyone has the chance to experience love. ... Why am I on about love? I have a point, don't worry dear. I'm on about love because it's time to decorate the Galentine's Shrine! The Galentine's Shrine, well, it's actually just the Wind Shrine [sic] Except we paint it all pink and doll it up with bows and hearts! We do this, to celebrate love! Each and every year, for Galentine's Day. And legend says the Galentine's Shrine brings true love to all who visit it... Like Cupid's arrow, in the form of a warm breeze. A gale. Love that sweeeeps you off your feet. Doesn't that sound lovely? Now, I do enjoy decorating it, but I'm not so fond of gathering the supplies. Takes a lot of movement, and I'm old, right? And some of the supplies can only be gathered in the White Brick Field. Do you realize where that is? All the way in the Retro Swarm Challenge... Can you imagine ME in THERE? Slashing at slimes, at my age? Heh. Well, I could probably hold my own in there. But still, I'm quite tired. So how about you gather them up and then we decorate it together? Sound nice? ... Hmmm? Too busy? Oh, well that's unfortunate. I guess you'll just be alone forever then. Just you and your bees, like me and Windy. Guess you'll be standing up here, like me, one day [sic] With nobody to keep you company except thousands of busy beekeepers who don't have time for love. Heheh. No, I'm sure you've got your admirers. But not everyone is so fortunate! So let's do this for them - those who need a little help [sic] Those timid to start the journey towards romantic companionship. They need an excuse to get started. An excuse like the Galentines [sic] Blessing... Decorate the Galentine's Shrine, and let's bring love to the mountain! ... And if you're really such a misanthrope, well, you'll want to help me anyways. Because if you do, I've [sic] give you the password to the Winter Memory Match game. And you can win some sweet stuff in there.
-During- N/A -Completion- (Yawn) I ain't gonna worry I ain't gonna push- Oh! It's you, dear. And its snowing? ... Oh yes, that's right. Bee Bear's magic. Silly fellow. Charming. I do adore his whimsical antics. And, I've heard he's a lot older than he looks... Maybe just about my age, hmmm?Could it be? A match made for the Galentine's Shrine? HAH! You should see the look on your face. Don't worry, dear, I won't be making any moves. I wouldn't put you through that. Heheh. But, speaking of the Galentine's Shrine, you've brought all the supplies. yes? Well then, let's get decorating! ...(snip snip)... ...(shtick shtack)... Lovely! This Galentine's Shrine is the prettiest yet. Just gazing at it really gets you into the mood! But if you really want to feel the love, there's a trick. Try donating [Strawberries] to the Galentine's Shrine, and just keep at it. Eventually, true love will take over! And you'll also get some special rewards. And we all love rewards. Thank you for your help! And sorry if all this lovely dovey talk has made you uncomfortable. You're not out here with the bees to think about LOVE. You're here for honey! So, go ahead, take this: (She scribbles a password on your backpack) That's my Winter Memory Match password. Now, for the cost of 100 [Snowflakes], you can play the Winter Memory Match once every 5 hours. You can win all sorts of helpful supplies in that thing. Trust me, I'm a former Memory Match champ. And you know how much [Glitter] I have. Have fun with that dear, and do try donating [Strawberries] to the shrine! Love will be waiting for you, when you're ready. It blows us all over, in time. |

Trivia[]
- She is one of the two female bears in the game, the other being Mother Bear.
- You can get to her without 35 bees by using the Red Cannon, then using the Parachute or Glider to glide over, then make sure you have high ping so you are able to talk to her before you get kicked out of the 35 bee zone.
- Her idle animation comes from the Elder Animation Package.
- She quite often refers to her sister, another bear who was very close to her.
- She, Stick Bug, the Cub Buddies, Bee Bear and Shadow Bear are the only NPCs that dance.
- She is the second NPC to hold a tool, the first being Onett, which makes her the only bear holding a tool.
- She is the third NPC to wear a belt, the other two being Sun Bear and Onett.
- Spirit Bear, Sun Bear, and Dapper Bear are the only Bears to wear accessories, Spirit Bear and Sun Bear being the only bears to wear in-game accessories.
- Spirit Bear is based off of Kermode Bears, which are sometimes referred as spirit bears.
- Kermode bears are a rare subspecies of the black bear.
- She mentions the Bee Swarm Simulator Wiki in the quest "Spirit's Starter".
- Both she and Science Bear have items that are only obtainable from their quests, which are Spirit Petals and Translators respectively.
- The Code "BeesBuzz123" is her account's password on her own website, proven from her dialogue in "QR Quest".
- She, Panda Bear, Black Bear, Gummy Bear and Science Bear are the only bears that mention/have a code.
- It is possible to glitch into Spirit Bear and get a quest from her. The player has to jump on the Windy Bee statue on top of the 35 Bee Gate and glide or jump to her, or, if the player has enough ping, climb up the big rock left of the gate and nearest to the Coconut Field and talk to her.
- She has the most words per quest in her dialogue, at around 2,000 per quest, even surpassing Science Bear with the most words per quest dialogue.
- She has around 21 thousand words in her whole dialogue.
- She and Dapper Bear are the only permanent quest bears to not have a Bear Morph.
- All of Spirit Bear's quests require collecting an increasing amount of white pollen. (With an exception of her Beesmas quests.)
- Spirit Bear is the second bear to require the completion of another bear's quest, the first being Bee Bear and Sun Bear being third.
- Spirit Bear is the only quest giver that can summon Nighttime, a Wild Windy Bee, and a Snowstorm. However, Spirit Bear, along with Honey Bee, are the only quest givers that can summon a Honeystorm.
- She is self-aware that she is in a game, as she mentions "game balance'' in ''Sway Away."
- This could be because of multiple reasons, such as her saying "Ol' Stumpy", her mentioning the wiki you are viewing this on, or her age.
- She is the only permanent quest giver that requires the player to play Memory Matches.
- She is the only permanent quest giver that requires the player to use the Wealth Clock for her quests.
- Spirit Bear refers to the Stump Snail as ''Ol' Stumpy''. This may be a reference to the youtuber ThnxCya as he references it as ''Ol' Stumpy'' too.
- Sources confirm that she's a 1983's Memory Match tournament champion, and that explains why she gives quests that require players to play Memory Match.
- Some of her quests give items upon receiving the quest. These items include: Jelly Beans, Star Jelly, Glitter, Magic Beans, Coconuts, Pineapples, Sunflower Seeds and Gumdrops.
- Her favorite holiday is Galentine's Day.
- Her sleep talking during the quest "Do You Bee-lieve In Magic?" is probably a reference to the image of Basic Bee winking that can be found at the end of the White Tunnel, hinting to the code "Wink".
- In the 2021 Beesmas Quest, when she tells the player where to get Satisfying Nectar, she mentions the wrong fields; The Dandelion Field, the Bamboo Field, and the Pine Tree Forest is where the player can get Comforting Nectar, not Satisfying Nectar.
- In her first quest, Spirit Bear reveals that she planted the Sunflowers in the Sunflower Field.
- The Sunflowers were requested by her Sister, who loves to snack on Sunflower Seeds.
- The dialogue of her quest "Witness Grandeur" reveals she has known Brown Bear since he was a cub.
