The Procedure[]

I woke up with a splitting headache. My vision was blurry, and the last thing I remembered was that cursed bee. As the world slowly came into focus, I realized I wasn’t in the main islands of Bee Swarm Simulator anymore. Bright lights blinded[1] me from above, and the smell of alcohol stung my nose.

That’s when I saw a strange but familiar figure approaching me from a door in front of me. He stood over me in a surgeon’s coat, mask pulled tight. He was none other than DvH2. But something about him seemed off - he wasn't orange and green anymore. Instead, he was in different shades of purple, the same color the Digital Bee had branded the wiki with. In his hand, a scalpel shimmered with static, flickering between steel and corrupted code.

“Welcome,” he said coldly. “The procedure must begin. Digital Bee has chosen you.”

"Wait wait wait... what procedure??" I asked in confusion. "And why the hell are you purple?"

Just then, a ear-piercing, corrupted buzzing sound had me grasping my head hardly. Oh no... OH NOOO... NO NO NO... NOT IT...

"Welcome... My dear Mario, I knew you would be a good pick to turn purple." Digital bee buzzed.

I thought for a bit, before replying, "Wait... but I'm the narrator of the story. If you turn me purple, who's gonna narrate the story in an unbiased point of view? I would be biased towards your team if you were to turn me purple."

"Exactly. And to answer your other question, the procedure is to make you purple, as you can already tell."

"ALL HAIL PURPLE!!!" Purple DvH2 exclaimed.

On Digital Bee’s robotic arms - installed as a new extension of its body - held a USB Purple Stick.[2] With every inch it came closer to me, the static from the USB Purple Stick grew louder, filling the room with a deafening digital screech. My body was paralyzed, my hands refused to move, and the corrupted light flickered in my eyes.

I was cornered. There was no escape.
