Waxes

Waxes are Inventory Items that were added in the 2021-12-26 Update. They are used by players to modify the stats and abilities of Beequips. There are currently 4 different Waxes, and each Wax can affect a Beequip differently. The player can only use up to 5 Waxes on a Beequip, so if the Player would like to use more Waxes on a Beequip, they must use a Turpentine on the Beequip to remove the waxes. Doing this will change the stats back to the original ones the Beequip had. Waxes can also be used to craft Planters, Tools, and better waxes in the Blender.

Wax Types

There are currently five wax types listed below:

• Soft
• Hard
• Caustic
• Debug
• Swirled

Use in Quests

• Dapper Bear requires the player to collect or use waxes in the following quests:
  • A Good Infection (#3) requires the player to collect 10 Soft Waxes.
  • All About Appearances (#4) requires the player to use 5 Soft Waxes and 1 Hard Wax.
  • The Long Haul (#10) requires the player to use 10 Hard Waxes.
  • Ongoing Maintanence (#13) requires the player to use 50 Soft Waxes.
• Science Bear requires to player to obtain waxes in the following quests:
  • Repairing The White Drive requires the player to obtain 12 Soft Waxes.
  • Corrupting The Glitched Drive requires the player to obtain 12 Hard Waxes.
• Bee Bear requires to player to collect or use waxes in the following quests:
  • Finishing The Festive Planter (#10) requires the player to collect 10 Soft Waxes.
  • Upgrading The Honeydays (#13) requires the player to use 5 Soft Waxes.
  • Cogs For The Cub Buddy (#15) requires the player to use 5 Hard Waxes.
  • Peppermint Preparation (2/5) (#17) requires the player to collect 30 Soft Waxes.
  • Peppermint Preparation (3/5) (#18) requires the player to use 1 Swirled Wax.
  • Peppermint Preparation (4/5) (#19) requires the player to collect 30 Hard Waxes and 5 Caustic Waxes.
• Bubble Bee Man requires to player to collect, use, and destroy Beequips with waxes in the following quests:
  • B.B.M's Naughty List (Beesmas 2021) requires the player to collect 555 Soft Waxes tokens and use 9 Caustic Waxes.
  • B.B.M's Naughty List (Beesmas 2022) requires the player to destroy 31 Beequips with Caustic Waxes.
